This brings up a good question I've had...
To have a discussion thread or not? I'm on the fence on the issue.

Synthesist - Has actually posted in a game thread once.
Corn - Roleclaims every single game.
MetaSeraphim - Posted while dead in 3 games.



All you have to do is not roleclaim in one game and you and Synthesist would be equal, until a certain future mafia game.

If I don't roleclaim, you don't talk in the game thread, and Synthesis talks, the world will explode.

This brings up a good question I've had...

I was going to suggest that you just say you're not going to roleclaim. I don't see any reason why people should have a problem with you not doing it.

Can I recieve a quick "how to play" guide that I can read? Either link me up or send me stuff by PM.

I know the basics from the rules posts on other mafia games but it's still my first time and the dynamics of the game are kinda confusing when you are not actually playing it.

Have you guys considered having a replacement list. Then again, mafia isn't that mainstream on this forum board. So there probably isn't need for one. But in certain games they scale it back to 14 or so players and over six spots for reserve in case other players can't make it. Anyway. For future reference.

Usually we don't need a replacement list because people are usually pretty good about sign ups and playing the game. If a person is inactive usually they get godkilled or the host tries to get someone to replace them via the thread or IRC.

Not to mention mafia boards with replacement lists usually have the game last like 3 weeks for one day or something dumb, which is why people have to quit in the first place.

And limited people joining. We let everyone join! (more people just means more vanillas usually)

Just to throw it out there - last I heard, this game was stamped with approval and good to go, and Ray is just being lazy about updating his post. Thus, signups, now that the Greek game ended. If this is wrong for some reason, Ray, I apologize. >_>
