Tiered killing is actually exactly the same thing. It just ensures that there's always a single mafia killer.

That guy brings new meaning to the word "fabulous". Seriously. Also, I'm planning to let the signups run until tomorrow night (partly in case more people want in, partly because I haven't finished the roles yet). Expect the game to start on Saturday.

Funny how these mafia games get bigger and bigger.

No dude. He's a character from the kids show The Wiggles. he is the single most interesting character in the entire show. hands down.

Looks like. I'll be unofficially closing the signups now, and I'll get it finalized and going in the morning.

Informing everyone in advance I may not be on on Sunday.

RULES FOR Y'ALL

1. The game will cycle between night and day, beginning with Night 0. Not all night actions will work on Night 0; this information is provided in the user's role PM.
2. Days and nights will last around 24 hours each, or until majority/all actions are in.
3. The exact details in role and result PMs may not be traded at any point in time. You may choose to reveal results and roleclaim, but you may not quote PMs directly.
4. If you don't want to use your night role, please send a PM to me with the title 'Night x - Idling' anyway. This at least shows you're paying attention to the game.
5. Lynch votes must be bolded. No Lynch is not an acceptable vote. Please make sure that you unbold obsolete votes. In the event that no one votes, or it comes to a tie, there will be no death.
6. There are no items in this game.
7. Do not screenshot anything related to the game.
8. Do not talk about the game with or in front of living players while you are dead, unless allowed to by the host. You may still plan with your teammates if you're mafia, but only for the sake of planning strategies. In the event that you do, you may not use any outside information you may have acquired (e.g. contacting a friend, saying "I'm dead now, what's your role?", and then telling others is NOT okay).
9. Do not impersonate other players or me. You may not fake logs, including logs with me.
10. If you have any questions about your role or the game please don't hesitate to contact me. If I'm on IRC I'll be on #southperry. You may also PM me.
11. IRC is restricted only to those who are in the mafia. There will be one channel for the mafia. You are not allowed to release the channel or who is in the channel to ANYONE.
12. The game ends when a win condition is fulfilled.
13. There are 20 players in this game.
14. Priorities are kept secret.
15. The mafia may communicate privately amongst themselves. All other communication must take place in the gameplay thread.
16. There is one town faction (pirates) and one mafia faction (ninjas). There may or may not be neutrals.
17. I will not provide a list of roles in this game.

I'll put up the gameplay thread in a few hours. I still need to think up a few more names for roles, make sure it's all relatively balanced, randomize, and send out role PMs.

Of course you make ninjas the bad guy D=

a) I prefer pirates to ninjas.
b) It makes more sense that way anyway. The ninjas are supposed to be the stealthy ones, so they infiltrate the pirates in disguise and slowly kill them off one by one.

SIGNUPS ARE OFFICIALLY CLOSED. I'm randomizing roles now, so expect PMs shortly. I'll put up the gameplay and discussion threads after the PMs are all out.

Detective should get results back as European or Japanese, because come on, ninjas are from Japan.

Though I guess after finding the first ninja then the pirates would have to be idiots not to kill the other Japanese people on the ship. <_<
