Mastery skills. They're called Expertise in fourth jobs.

No. Look at the "Relevant Formulas" section under the Hit Rate calculator. The formula for physical accuracy can also be found on the calculator's page.

For the longest time I've been believing that critical now is multiplicative, but upon further and random observations, I've come to question that.

 Spoiler

Shows:
- 1:18 -- 43x,xxx dmg Critical Sacrifice hit
- 1:23 -- 358,285 dmg non-Critical Sacrifice hit
- 1:33 -- 366,166 dmg Crit Sac
- 1:38 -- 350,472 nonCrit
- 1:41 -- 379,346 nonCrit
- so on and so forth
- 1:53 -- 372,107 Crit

Now then, taking the lowest Critical hit observed, 366,166 and dividing it by 1.35~1.5 yields 244110~271243 dmg nonCrit. This is far too low for 90% mastery, considering the fact that he dealt as high as 379346 dmg nonCrit. Even if Dragon Judgement did not work with Sacrifice and the lowest multiplier were 1.2x, it still yields 305138 which is STILL too low.

Am I screwing something up?

If it is indeed multiplicative, can I have some concrete stuff to work on and believe in?

Always check the date posted on those videos. That's from 1.2.318 or something.

Edit: Judging by the purple Crushers, it's actually 1.2.326. Multiplicative critical wasn't implemented until the next patch.

I think paladin advanced charge also count as an expertise. It is only applicable with a charge on and affect all skill like blast and charge blow.

So what's the difference between Damage % and Total Damage % in terms of calculating? Because I'm trying to find a difference in the results and so far, I've got nothing

There aren't two bonuses named %damage and %totaldamage. There is only %TotalDmg.

Since we have not already came up with the full version player damage formula...

Critical: random..random..random..
ignorePDPr: works on PDr and is multiplicative, then round to the nearest integer number.

I've slept on the numbers many times these days.
unencrypted exe file Glitter wtp I missed it anywhere

Thx for these calculators Smile. Though idk if I got it right. I got 15312.25 when I tried calculating my 15x F/P AM's max damage. Can an AM provide an example of their max damage calculations to compare and so I can make sure I got it right?

Im assuming you have nicely potentialed gear? o_O
This is my Max range with 6% int and clean staff.

Magic Attack
Staff = 184
From Equips = 43
M.Mastery = 30
Medi = 20
BoF = 13
S.Mastery = 10

Max Damage
Max Damage = 1.00 * (4 * Int + Luk) * (Magic Attack / 100)
Max Damage = (4 * 1154 + 187) * (300 / 100)
Max Damage = (4616 + 187) * 3
Max Damage = 4803 * 3
Max Damage = 14,409

Thanks for that. Yeah, I've got a lot of % int on my equips.

Is the full monster PDRate list lying around somewhere? If not, can I request for one? Chin

Fiel's posted it somewhere before, if I'm not mistaken. Probably buried in one of the extraction threads.

Err I think I may have seen this somewhere, but my search-fu is weak. I'm working on a general damage range calculator for post-BB and was wondering if after BB is it rounded or truncated?

e.g. 999 str * 1.15 from MW = 1148.85, so would it be 1148 or 1149? I think it's rounded but I can't seem to recall. ;_; Thanks.

Yeah, calculations get a bit harder post-BB due to all of the rounding and not rounding everywhere. That calculation floors though.
