[TMS]lvl120 Visitor Event - Bomber Room
#21
Well i guess that means a character that can do damage with a tick is necessary. In that case, the bombs become less of an issue. Even if they kill you you lose no exp and you can come back, so we can ignore it.

You need the full Visitor set to do the PQ? Looks like I'll be using my cannon shooter T_T

I'ma just maker a Wrath or Peacemaker and use that, but without my gun, gloves, overall, or helm my DPS is gonna drop a ton...I wonder if I'll be able to take these things out?

I wonder if Heaven's Hammer would work on those... I'm just saying get a few Paladins to go in spamming Hammer all over the place for 199,999 per pound...

Hammer barely beats my Blast anymore unless I hit lots of targets, if other classes can't kill them then Paladins won't be able to either.

Shadow Web.

Shadow Web does freaking 3% HP per tick, which takes like 6 or so seconds each. What is the objective of this room anyway? I'm pretty sure avoiding deaths is unnecessary seeing as you can just respawn in a matter of seconds. If you don't have the balls to sacrifice the EXP (if you lose EXP at all) to get the weapons, get out. I'm just thinking there's something else to it beside raw power.

I'm thinking that too...

Maybe there's a way to make the Time Bombs damage the aliens instead of us. I'm thinking that maybe a normal attack could trigger something on the bombs, but I'm not sure if the Aran did hit the bombs with it's normal attack or not; or if their normal attack works in abnormal ways. : \

Just a thought... can they be frozen? The bombs mainly.:f6:

You can't attack Timebomb, the attacks just pass through the bomb. Let alone freeze it.

Do you lose exp if you die?

No, but we still need HB in there. Die from every single attack sucks.

The party that I saw do it in Tespia did it relatively easily, if I remember correctly. I don't see how it's so much of an issue. Maybe if people didn't die and stay as floating ghosts the whole time...

You don't lose exp in the PQ, so you can die as many times as you want.

Since this hads not been answered yet I'll follow up and ask in more detail.
Could someone elaborate just why you need the full set on? So far I have not seen an explanation on what happens if you don't. The people dying in the PQ do it because they lack armor, got way to low HP or just suck in general? So I'll ask again: Area style damage a la El Nath, and in that case how much per sec, or instant death a la GQ?

El Nath effect. I saw a guy take off his alien helm, his HP kept decreasing.

Thx =). That means I can battle at full power, just some more pots used.

Do you need to kill all the aliens to clear this pq? Does the pq still count for the 1 pq per day thing if it fails?

Take SW and combine it with the other skills that Top Tier Bossing classes have:
Instant-Death from rings
MB for BM
FT for Corsairs
Tempest for Arans
Doom for Bishops

tl;dr: This room is a cakewalk.

You forgot about snipe Rolleyes
Instant death from rings does 199,999 max damage, test it out on Imperial Guards.
