A little thing I noticed.

Well the quest line of Mushroom Castle IS to over throw King Pepe correct? What if NEXON thought since ALL classes/heroes can do those quests, that once king pepe was gone. The force fighting AGAINST the Black Mage would use that as a strong hold against HIS castle.

I sense some expansion to both Mushroom Castle(probbaly not likely) and the El Nath mountains. Maybe even Elin would be revived?

It seems like it's his castle... there's a Pepe flag. lol

*Cough* I was right *cough*

Maybe the pepe castle is a lower leveled adventurer quest chain that leads to the understanding of the Castle on the mountains that ties with the black mage.

I still don't understand: if it was really just a background object like some people are assuming (and even I would), then why that red beam?

This is really mysterious. Some things make me believe that it actually is El Nath castle (the top part), but there are some things which aren't really the same. For example, it apparently is missing of one of the right base pillars.

Better quality comparison:

It's really, really similar, though. But then again, it could've just been an object they used for the video, IF there wasn't that red beam which drawed many people's attention on it. Looks like that could be where the Black Magician (or his forces) is.

EDIT: Watching the video again made me change my mind. I'm now 99,99% sure that it IS El Nath's castle. Even if the base pillars aren't EXACTLY the same, the rest of it totally looks like that one.

Well yeah, that's what i was talking about. but Mushroom castle is covered in those flags too. King pepe redecorates fast.

red beam? it's blue. it's really, really, really blue.

the picture from the big bang video is flipped, it's looking at it from the opposite side as nath, which lends more credence to it being from the victoria island side. if you look, the two side pillar lengths are left short, right tall on the nath picture and left tall, right short on the video picture. it's the exact same castle without a doubt, just from the opposite PoV.

It looks like a powerful energy is originating from the castle in the trailer, even the clouds above it are spread apart by the force from the beam.

If it's not something just for show in the trailer then I'm sure it'll house some sort of powerful boss or something in it (Possibly Black Mage like mentioned already) The castle appears a second time in the trailer where it seems like they're heading toward it and then monsters suddenly appear as if blocking the path to the castle.

This is the best shot I could get of that part:

Looks really red to me. Anyone confirm please?

Also, the side pillars are left tall right short in both the pictures, without considering the top part, which looks the same iin both the pictures, so I don't think it's flipped.

Didn't notice that one. If they show it TWICE, then, I'm pretty sure there must be something there.

That explains a lot. Maybe the beam is his resurrection?

It's cyan, like, this colour. Red is the exact opposite.

Weird. I can see Cyan but still see the beam in the video reddish.

1. How is the castle appearing in the video is conclusive evidence that the castle belongs to the Black Mage?
2. Why does the Black Mage even needs a castle when he can easily conquer the entire Maple World?
3. Can you demonstrate that the light beam is not caused by Zakum?
4. How can you say for certain that the light beam is not caused by Shammos or a F/P mage using meteor?
5. Explain what is happening in the two images that you claim as your evidence.
6. Do you believe that the bible is scientifically accurate?

@Combattente in the post below mine: That's not conclusive evidence. The Black Mage could also easily use Leafre, which is supported by the Aran storyline.

The castle could be easily used for his army.

The castle could also be a high leveled area. Stronger than TOT perhaps. Maybe even high leveled PQ. At this point we don't know whats oging though NEXON's head..Though since Big Bang TOTALLY revamped the game BIG changes will be coming soon.

Anyways, when I said the beam was red, I meant the border. The rest is like cyan, yeah.

I'm not claiming it as evidence. It was just an interesting observation I made.

Also villains need castles...And since they're trying to revive him, wouldn't you need a ritual of some sort and a physical location?
#37
What's a better place to revive the Black Mage than a secluded, well gaurded castle on top of a mountain so dangerous (story wise) that no one under level 50 is even allowed to climb it?

Plus it's ominous. I think a group called the Black Wings trying to revive the Black Mage is going to want scenery that fits their theme.
#38
IMO im not sold on the idea of the castle being placed in el nath it could be any where like perion or lefre. also i also want to point out that it could be just an image used to tell the story , remember everyone trying to explain the new hero classes with that one photo ..... they ended up being proven that the photo there was only to show arans in a battle with the other classes. now don't get me wrong about how i think the castle just being a photo for setting the mood and story. yet i still wouldnt mind if there was another castle type dung.

i also want to say that the place of the castle could be perion, like in guildpq and everything but again could be pure hype that people are looking to deeply into BB...

Since when Harrisonized became a troll? Rolleyes

Like Isaac said, once you defeat the prie minister your character tells King Pepe to go back to his kingdom. That Tower in the picture could belong to King Pepe's castle although it's insides look exactly as the Guild's hall. Anyway, creating a story that explains why they are using the hall as base isn't hard. The Black Mage and his Black Wings are causing havoc all around mapleworld, and King Pepe's kingdom is being destroyed by all the geographical changes and the powered up monsters, so he requestes help from the big 4 from victoria and these in exchange use his castle to plan their attack.

The castles are flipped horizontally:
[Image: betterquality.jpg][Image: 2qk3xp3.png]
Notice the number of small castles on each side.

Now look at the world map; the border region between El Nath and Nihal Desert lies on the other side of he mountains. Magatia, the city where the Dark Magician had his laboratory, is almost directly on the other side of El Nath town crossing the mountains.

Now, why would you launch an attack from the South? If the lair was to the North of the mountains, attack from El Nath. If it's to the East, Mu Lung Garden region. That leaves out the West and the South, but there is no discernible peaks to the West. That leaves out the mountain surrounded by a suspicious looking river that seems to curve around it.

The Pepe King's Castle could be in the greyish brown area behind the words Ossyria (which is the only grey area besides the bit below Temple of Time) The orange fog seen in the background of the video could be sandstorm.

This would bring into question what the Ereb to Ellinia NPC says about Sleepywood ("I know there's something besides Balrog that resides down there, something more sinister" he could be mistaking the Jr. Balrog for Balrog though)
