What I know, is that 30 -> 31 had the same mp cost on brandish.

Brandish MP cost (yes, the third job one) is 15+d(x/3)

So, level 31:

15 + d(31/3)
15 + d(10.333)
15 + 10
25

Level 30:
15 + d(30/3)
15 + d(10)
15 + 10
25

I don't see any evidence of MP cost being locked. If you see a level 33 brandish and the MP cost is the same, let me know.

GOD DAMMIT, doesn't prove anything. Oh well, maybe it DOES not have a lock. I'd like to make sure, someone said it, but I've seen a reverse sword giving to something at 4th job...

Holy pineapple I just came. Totally forgot about this beast. Can I have this skill's formula for Mastery?

Nevermind, +2% per level, so 94% Mastery (does any equip add Beholder?) it is.

ok, Angel Ray MP Cost is 16+2*d(x/2)

Level 30:
16 + 2*d(30/2)
16 + 2*15
16 + 30
46

Level 31:
16 + 2*d(31/2)
16 + 2*d(15.5)
16 + 2*15
16 + 30
46

Still not seeing any signs of MP cost being locked.

it would be cool if they upped the mp cost by a lot giving you a choice between higher attack with a huge mp cost or just being normal with a manageable one. MMO's are all about the law of diminishing returns so as you get higher the opportunity costs of getting stronger start meeting the value of the benefit

Just noticed that. I even edited my post too late. ANYWAYS, I just need to find that screenshot of some having a sword adding to a 4th job skill, whatever it is. I think it was the 2H sword, not sure.

I remember Pride stating that it's possible to obtain +1~2 to all skills from Potential-ing certain equipment. Does that mean that it's possible to get...

Reverse/Timeless Equipment: +1
Potential: +2
Combat Orders: +2

Total: +5 o.O

Could this be the reason why they bumped up the cooldown for Snipe? Interesting.

EDIT: Nevermind. Snipe does NOT work with Combat Orders. Snipe's cooldown is high because it's ridiculously strong.

Yeah but it's from unique items I believe, that and it's a random skill which I'm assuming would limited to the equips class (although I'd find it to be incredibly stupid to give say a hurricane bonus in a frickin theif glove)

If their is no limit and it really does ALL(still highly doubt this) of your skills that would mean with combat orders you can reach up to 10 SP and 11 SP if you have a timeless weapon. Lvl 41 Brave slash anybody?

Combat Order will help lower base damage% skills more since it seems they redesigned the skill formulas to be [constant + skillLevel*2], or at least, the warriors' main attack skills were.

Brave Slash: 150 + lvl*2
Blast: 225 + lvl*2
Crusher: 100 + lvl*2

Shouldn't you be able to get level 37 skills then? O_O

+2 Combat Orders, on most 4th job skills
+1 Reverse/Timeless Equip, on A skill
+2 Cape, on all skills
+2 Weapon, on all skills

+2 Top, on A skill
+2 Bottom, on A skill

level 10 --> 17
level 20 --> 27
level 30 --> 37

although you can get level 21/31/41 on some skills I guess since tops/bottoms/overalls can give +1~2 on A skill.
