Well, I think it sounds a bit weird, though I don't consider a bday-field as a "hey I'm gonna get hacked"-thing. The date is getting sent somewhere however, and it is saved somewhere.

Interestingly, Nexon can't drag out the date you already registered with.

Today the only thing that stops someone who gets on your account from deleting your character is knowing your birthday.
If you enter it in that retarded little info screen, and it remains there where anyone on your account can login and look it at, you've just lost the only security you had.

Odd, I just deleted a character today, and the only thing that stopped me was my PIC.

That said, i'm not even going to use this thing. Since this is a GMS exclusive though, that's an indicator that we aren't getting anything else major this patch. Just balance patch + this + some s'hitty events. Maybe some other stuff, but probably not actual content.
