Keep in mind that the damage from Crusher, Aran's combo, and Brandish is equal for all hits. The damage from a Battle Mage's combo skill is not equal for each hit.

What are you talking about? Distributing damage isn't even an issue once you have combo crit. Warriors don't even see distributed damage past 4th job and before that who cares? End game they destroy battle mages, so it's only fair for battle mages to destroy them pre-game. The only reasonable answer for why they're nerfing battle mages is because they provide some of the best buffs in the game, but that doesn't compensate for their trash training now that tornado sucks ass and final blow is an absolute joke.
