Quote:Durability Items are incredibly strong weapons that will drastically increase your adventurer’s abilities
So they don't have any effect on Cygnus Knights / Aran / Evan / Dual Blade / etc?

Who cares about Cygnus Knights? There are durability weapons available for Aran/Evan/Dual Blade.

Not really. Many of the effects on these items depend on the class equipping them being of the adventurer variety. Other races, for lack of a better term, can use these weapons but they won't get the special bonuses tacked onto them.

Aran get the polearm effect iirc. That's the only exception I can think of.

Thought that was a set item - not a durability item.

Sounds good.
I think they'll be less common, mostly because the PQ sucks for literally everything. Durability weapons in itself sucks, and nothing else valuable comes from this. The bosses exp is laughable, and the 20 second potion limit for the second form boss is extremely difficult to get around for most.
The 20-second potion cooldown only applies to the dragon rider's room. The boss doesn't have damage reflect or seduce in there, so it isn't really much of a problem with a rusher and/or a bishop/priest. I think getting through the cave with falling rocks before that map would probably be harder than killing the boss itself =/

I noted that only the second form boss has the 20 second pot CD in the quoted post.
I don't really think it's an issue of there being damage reflect/sed, it's just an issue of "is the whole thing even worth it?" which it isn't. Only point in killing the boss in the first place is for s'hits, but running regularly will never happen. >_>

Here's a google-translated version with types and weapons marked:
Animal (two-handed sword, knuckle)- nothing really interesting
Reptile (crossbow)- horntail, newts, wyverns, dragon turtles
Spirit (gun, polearm)- pap
Devil (claw, staff, blade)- pink bean, all the balrogs, all the time temple monsters, zakum and its arms
Undead (bow, dagger)- skeles
Enchanted (spear)- pink bean statues, ergoth statues, royal guard

LOL at having to go back to Victoria Island to repair your items. Nearly everyone that will have one of these weapons will be training at Leafre...GG Nexon.

Where is the critical hard coded to? These are all thieves...
- Nightlord
- Nightlord & Shadower
- Nightlord & Shadower & Nightwalker
- Nightlord & Shadower & Nightwalker & Dual Blade
- Nightlord & Nightwalker (all ranged thieves)
If the critical weapons are meant for adventurers only, there should be none for the Hero classes aswell, or they should just work with all classes that equip them...
Why create such a fail programming again? I know it's Nexon we're talking about but just leaving out the Cygnus Knights and fail to give Cygnus Knight players ANY reason to fight the dragonrider boss is just typically:
NEXON lolUSA FAIL
as usual... but ok... why bother... failure is their motto...
Fail patch btw... Happy 5 year fail Nexon... :')

You can thank Nexon Korea for that not Nexon America. The only thing Nexon America did I think was make it were they can be traded with PSoK.

The only problem I see here is that you guys see Nexon refer to players as "adventurers" and assume it's some super special message that means something.
Nexon is Nexon, the only thing you can trust is other players and the data. Wait for the patch to patch before complaining about every stupid thing Nexon's said.

I think it's more the fact that you need to be 100+ to even obtain these weapons, in most cases 120+ to actually use the skills they give...
And you have to recharge them in Victoria. Where honestly, no 3rd job trains, most 2nd jobs don't train... lots of 1st jobs don't even train there.

Yeah, Nexon America totally dropped the ball when they made Reverse and Timeless items not include skill bonuses for Cygnus too.

Well i managed to get a durability gun from the pq, but it doesn't look like it's going to be that useful, unless some noteworthy spirit monsters pop up. It costs 42.7m to fully restore one of these items, and they last about ~8 hrs or so i'd say. That still needs to be tested some more though. But if it is indeed 8 hrs, using these is going to be a tad expensive >.> On top of that, their attack can't get very high.
