Zombie apocalypse!

MetaSeraphim Wrote:Do other people have Pokemon?

Of course. You can't control zombie Pokemon though, so don't worry about bandits running around with zombie Raticate, or zombie Pokemon trainers who challenge you to a battle.

Absol. He can sense when an enemy will be coming from miles away, so he'd be always out at my side. i wouldn't use him to fight, but instead to be a first alarm system.

Magnezone, because i could use it as a portable generator. Ever need to replace batteries in your flashlight? Not going to have to worry about that with him.

Ninetales. This foxy gal can control minds, and can use ghostly moves like Will-O-Wisp and confuse ray. Used in small groups of zombies to buy time to escape, or otherwise will incinerate any zombie that tries to get too close. Extrasensory, Hypnosis, and Disable would be used in case a non-infected tries to pull anything over me.

Lapras, for aquatic transportation. Good luck finding a boat that will both be operable, as well as not over-crowded with survivors trying to flee to safety. While you all are rushing to a boat, ill hop on my Lappy and ride the waves. Plus, since its shell is big enough, i can have Absol serve as an additional warning in case a storm or other threat are coming.

Aggron. Sorry, the ability to use many types of moves, life flamethrower, shock wave, ice punch, dragon rush, aerial ace, dark pulse, and more, as well as being very protective all are awesome. this big guy would be my tank, and used to defend my in the case of a massive attack, along side ninetales. Plus, its super strong, so i could have it blast a hole into the side of a cliff and make a miniature cave to sleep in at nights, as well as dig tunnels and holes to trap others in that try to sneak up on my group while we sleep.

Miltank. Dairy provider, ill never have to worry about dehydration for me or any of my team. Plus, said milk has many proteins and vitamins. No reason not to have her around.

Dodrio. Sorry, but when i need to make a speedy getaway, im gonna look at you. Mainly used for long distance transportation, since no way will cars be a viable option.

Gallade, will probably round out my team. Teleport, Double Team, and Protect make it capable of defending, while Swords dance mixed with its wide array of moves that utilize its arm blades would make a deadly threat. Since its a dual typed psychic/fighting pokemon, it can learn EQ and Focus Blast and have those moves be stronger than normal due to STAB.

I'd avoid the air at all times. theres just something about a zombie apocalypse and being airborn that makes me uneasy. Also no where does it say we're limited to just 6 pokemon, and since everyone would be more worried about survival, id make sure to use what i need to survive.

You're right. I assumed that was a given, but I should put that in the rules listto prevent people from saying "BRING A BACKPACK FULL OF POKEBALLS THAT ARE FILLED WITH POKEMON!"

I'm assuming you'd have to feed your Pokemon at some point.

Steelix so I can knock away near by Zombies with Iron tail or Earthquake. Large and easy to travel on.

Pidgeot for flight. It can go up to mach 1 in the anime if I'm correct. When Ash used Charizard against the 1st gym leader in Johto, his Pidgeot out speeds charizard to no end.

Magnezone. As mentioned in a previous post it can be used as a portable generator.

Starmie for water. Also, bolt beam. I believe no type resists that.

Arcanine. Flamethrower, extreme speed, morning sun, etc.

Heres the dream team:

Pidgeotto
Pidgeot
Fearow
Swellow
Parasect
Blissey

Pidgeotto - low profile emergency messenger, it would be too dangerous to send em out alone too often.

Pidgeot, Fearow and Swellow for Air superiority. Team is always airborn unless resting. (swap out when each 1 gets tired)

Blissey for healing but only at a survivor camp or something, we prob. would not try to rescue anyone that is likely already a zombie.

Use Parasects Spores for offense and defence. We can knock out zombies to re supply or pummel them while they are knocked out. If the flyers need rest, we sleep down wind and put everything to sleep for miles. (sorry other survivors but at least it will hit the zombies too!)

Well, you dont have to be a trainer to have a pokemon be with you, theres plenty of examples in the anime and i think a few in the games of people owning pokemon without being trainers themselves. The Mimic Girl in saffron city comes to mind.

Magnezone: Electrical purposes, is Steel-type, can levitate with Magnet Rise. Feeds off electrical charges.

Aggron: Produces earthquakes, is Steel-type, can plow through zombies & mountains, can dig tunnels, can levitate with Magnet Rise. Only needs iron to survive.

Mismagius: Is speedy, is a Ghost-type that can go through objects, can levitate. A lot of support and status inflicting moves: Pain Split to heal, Thunder Wave to paralyze, Confuse Ray to confuse, Will-o-wisp to burn, Toxic to badly poison.

Weezing (or it's evolution): Has high defense, can levitate, Smokescreen for hiding purposes. Feeds off garbage and toxic waste.

Xatu: Is able to see the future, can teleport, can fly, can use Miracle Eye to enhance it's vision, can heal with Wish, has the ability to set up Light Screen & Reflect.

Blissey: Cheering up, team nurse, Softboiled for food, happiness eggs.

If anyone plans on making a roleplay on this, I'd like to hear the story you come up with. Perhaps Silph Co. is behind the outbreak? Ho-oh can revive the dead (see - Jhoto legendary trio), so perhaps finding wherever the hell it is can play a role in the story.

Hopefully you don't get attacked by a swarm of zombie flying types.

True, but for the sake of keeping this interesting, just keep it to your own Pokemon.

Right, it's probably a good idea to stick try as best as you can to stick with Pokemon that have food wherever they go. Such as Onix, who can feed on boulders.

This should be a Roleplay, Your adding elements to it like its a quest and stuff. If this is a roleplay i suggest we do it in Kanto/Johto, We all start off in different towns and all. we find eachother and we build une Resistance. There needs to be a Bad guys. Zombies just dont pop outta nowhere. I like the Ho-oh idea. But lets not like have God pokes involved to Come and cleanse everyone.
Pokes have like uhm 16 hp
2x supereffective takes off two hp
4x supereffective takes out four hp
lets just not bring stab in this to make this more complicated.
2x resist means two attacks take off 1 hp
4x resist means 4 attacks take off 1 hp
normal attacks take off 1 hp
Status effects like burns and poison take half an hp point Every post you make.
Light screens and reflects half the damage.
No crits.

Xatu - Teleport away if I'm attacked? Fly away if I'm attacked? See the future? Protect?
Phione - Phione Dew is a cure for disease/sickness. Just take some of that and I'm cured.
Tropius - For Bananas and flight.
Grotle - For its fruit stuffs.
Snover - For its berries.
Gengar - RAWR YOU GO SLEEP NAO.

Blissey for the same reasons Loose has it, Skarmory for flight and being a bird with steel feathers that may come in handy for one reason or another, Zangoose because it has IMMUNITY, a troll Gengar for the lulz, Thunderbolt, and being able to be all invisible-like, Tyranitar because it can EAT MOUNTAINS (and buildings, I hope) to clear a path and use Flamethrower to create heat, and Gyrados for Intimidate and being able to traverse water.

1)Gardevoir- For oh so many reasons that have already been mentioned. One major thing though would be teleport. It'd be an emergency fall back. It'd tire the hell out of gardevoir to teleport all of my pokes, especially if they're a bit far away, but she can do it as a last resort.

2)Clefable- Can be used as a lure technically since the virus wont affect her (?) (Magic Guard); boosted facade <3. Heal Bell. Toxic.

3)Breloom- Spore for mass sleep. Brick break for sheer stregth and wall breaking. Swords Dance = anything not resistant to his attacks pretty much goes down. Seed Bomb's almost pretty strong. Heals when poisoned is a plus. Could have clefable use toxic on breloom and itself and then just remove it when it's inconvenient with heal bell. (When would it be inconvenient).

4)Mismagius- The needed ghost type to peek through walls. Mid range support with shadow ball. Perish Song as a last resort if I see way too many opponents and I can't use Gardevoir to teleport us away. Breloom comes out after P. Song (so it's not affected) and spores anything nearby. Mismagius can substitute to leave decoys behind as traps. Levitation helps reach high places such as fruits in trees.

5)Ampharos- Light source at night. Power source if needed. Discharge helps clear out lots of enemies at once. Gotta make sure none of my guys are near though. Gardy's teleport helps with that.

6)Absol- Helps cut things. Senses danger and Super Luck (as said before). Sucker Punch let's it get the upper hand since enemy zombies will probably carelessly just charge ahead. Swords dance before a sucker punch let's it pick off most things so long as it can take em on 1v1.

1 on 1 battles against zombies are ok. A mass zombie attack get's taken care off either by sending out only Mismagius -> Perish Song, recall her and have gardy teleport us or breloom spore.
