there must be,but it is almost impossible for us to ever meet this certain life form
the big bang theory indicates there are thousands of galaxies in the universe,yet in our universe there are living creatures only on earth
and 1 out of thousands is the only one we know of so far.. so i believe there are living creatures in outer space.
also,theres a galaxy found in 2007 called gliese,and its planets gliese c b and a have same standarts and many similiarities to earth,and scientists say it might contain OXYGEN and WATER,its 20 light years far away,so let me know when humans reach this planet..
