It's pretty easy. I passed through it on my first try. Just time your movements when the totem pole moves and it's pretty simplistic.

I beat it my very first try, both maps. O_o It was so easy I didn't even consider it a real JQ. I probably did it 8-10 other times in the process of getting the Marker of Heroism...and I never failed it.

One run through no stopping I think is 1 minute each. I haven't died yet, and before they ever did, I got the thing that lets you skip it.

died 5 times at the first map cuz of rushing, got pasted it easily the 6th time xD

I died to it once, but not the first time. When I died it was because I didn't stand close enough to the edge on the 2nd menhir in map 1. Now I have the badge though, so no worries.

this isn't that hard...
I was surprised cause i usually suck at Jump quests as well, but today i did fine. Got past the 1st stage my 1st try.. then i died at the second part cause i jumped off at the wrong time =P Trying to bypass with the badge soon, but i have to get those dang storm badges >.> 4 more...

Yeah, the jump quest could have been a lot more challenging and a lot less safety charm milking. I died twice the same way on a blind fall on the first map.

I've gone through at least 10 times (Showing friends where to go, accompanying them, etc.) and I haven't died once.

Never died, done it on my first try. Then ended up doing it like 5 more times before I got my Hero Medal.

Succeeded on my first try through both 1 and 2.
However when i tried to pass through the area the second time, I died coz of lagg.

This "jump quest" is a joke. I was really disappointed at how easy it was to clear it, I think Nexon really overestimated the difficulty of passing the Menhirs/Spiraling Death. The only thing that the Marker of Heroism is useful for is to save time.

I only died a few times- I wasn't even touching the Twisting Totem of Doom.
![]() To me, I don't consider it a jump quest.

Died twice on the first half because I didn't know what I was supposed to do at the last part at the top right. The fact that my guildmate was there + screen lag confused me, since on my screen it showed him walking through it.
I'm more prone to dying or falling off Forgotten Path because of the Elderwraiths, than VoH itself.

I died once, because unlike most people I didn't read about what the JQ had beforehand, (or talk to the npc, didn't realise you could talk to the sages) and walked right into a totem. lol other than that it's really easy.

Cheez Wrote:I have a hard time believing anyone needs more than one attempt to do it. The first time you see the top of the pillars, ya really gotta understand that its got this giant hit radius, slightly above the tip and as wide as it gets. It also helps that you can skip the first pillar on the second map by just going down.

Starlily Wrote:Does smokescreen work in jq map? ^^ I was unlucky enough to get pinned behind a certain pillar and a wall, and thought I was doomed to die. But then I decided to try Smokescreen, and it did work~ So smokescreen does work there! ^_^

I found it very easy, it doesn't look like a Jumping Quest for me...
Jumping Quests are more like the one in Zakum Quests... Moreover, now that i get the mark of the hero, i can just teleport with statues, so it isn't a loss of time anymore
