I can confirm this is a shop. I can tell from the pixels, and from seeing quite a few shops in my day as well.

Also, he is obviously not a captain at all. There is no purpose for shopping "Obvious" on him, implying he is Captain Obvious when he is not even a captain. The only reason I can imagine someone doing so is if they wanted to post the image again as a reply for when someone points out this obvious fault in the image.
