Headless Horseman?

JezzaRules Wrote:How come? He doesn't warp you back to town does he? Nor he is invulnerable in an y way which require you to do something to nullify it.

Well I DO have to admit male boss' HP is kinda crap for a boss monster tho.

ON TOPIC: So the headless horseman is still spawning... Don't you reckon it will still be moved after the patch?
He warps you back to town by killing you. xD

Male boss is so weird, his HP/EXP are pretty normal for a monster of his level, he could easily kill anyone who would actually use that map to train, and his spawn time is ridiculously short, a matter of seconds. These things are less of a problem on the bain map, however it still applies that most people would be killed by it.

Anyway I didn't mean that he IS a bot-catching monster, he just behaves like one in some ways.
Chompy Wrote:I would argue his is more friendly to hackers.
If they have godmode or reduced damage his Damage does not matter.
AND he produces MORE fast spawn.
...
He seems to be more of a exploration trap to me-
"Oh an old guy- OH GOD I GOT HIT BY A CAR-!"Glitter
Bot-catching monsters are to stop botters, not hackers. In KMS they have problems with people using sophisticated botting programs which not only attack repeatedly but use potions and move around the map. You really can't tell just from looking whether it's a bot or not, until you look at the equips. They look just like hackers did in GMS last year: Maple Snowboard, Maple Helmet, some crappy overall way below their level. And every single one of them is a Bishop, and they bot at monsters which 70-80 levels below them.

But then again, not all people wearing the outfit are hackers. I've had some people call me hackers because of my choice for my hat, which is the versal hat instead of the zhelm. They say that "I'm not legit so I can't get a Zhelm", which totally isn't true.
LoL... what's the point in catching these hackers then? They're 'potting, killing, walking around, playing' as a normal person would. The only difference is that they won't respond to you when you talk to them.
It's not like they're gaining an advantage. These hackers would be no different from the priests that hang off the ladders and HS, or the people spamming Meteo/Blizzard/Genesis at the Newties map while AFKing by using Autopot. -_-"

I wouldnt call "male boss" a "boss" mainly because of the spawn time. It might be just me, but to qualify as a "boss", you have to be somewhat hard to find/have to camp to wait for it. Male boss just spawns every what? 30 seconds? (I really cant remember its spawn time).

Lol @ the topic changing courses xD

It's that they are gaining the same EXP as someone else who doesn't use those programs, except they aren't doing anything. Nexon defines hacking as "gaining an unfair advantage over other players". Compare someone who uses a bot for 24 hours to someone who plays for 24 hours. They get the same EXP, but one does whatever he wants to entertain himself, whereas the other has to eat at the computer, grind all day, and lose a lot of his physical health to get the same EXP as a botter. lolphail. Anyways, you get it, they get something for no effort or anything. Like being paid allowance without doing chores.

How can you say they're not getting an advantage? what if your computer trained your character every second you were away from it? wouldn't that be an advantage? They're not even playing the game, the computer is playing the game for them.

And yes, people who leave a little rock or whatever on their Ultimate key and go away with autopot are just as bad. Botting is botting, whether it's a program or a weight.

They're still using the same supplies, money, pots, and everything. Which means that it'll cost them the same amount as if they're sitting at a computer. They're not really cheating, they just set up macros that do their work for them, such as these people:

We do call those people botters. Botters are harder to catch than hackers, because they can do anything a normal player can do with a bot if it's well programmed and complicated enough. And they ARE gaining an unfair advantage, like we said. They may still need pots and all, but one person actually grinds his butt off, working HARD for his levels, and one person lets a computer grind for them, doing nothing but still getting the same thing the hardworker gets.

Time for more examples? It's like Susan does nothing helpful at work all day long and gets paid a billion dollars a week. Bob actually helps the company and gets paid the same as Susan. omg unfair ya right?

I have the bad feeling they won't move the Headless Horseman in a place where we don't have to pass through to go to Crimsonwood Keep, and we will still have to pass through its map to go there.
