Serious question here. What do you look for when watching a Maple vid?

i look for music and effects that go along with the gameplay. and the gameplay not being the same thing over and over. gameplay =/= dmg

I mute music on maple videos, no exceptions. There is nothing I want to hear except the ingame sounds, if it is both music and sounds then I mute it anyway.

same here. i don't listen to the music. Only when its a bossing video with maple sounds only soo i can hear warnings and such.

Such divided opinions on what one likes in a Maple video. It kind of dashes my hopes of making a video when winter break comes. Can't satisfy everybody.

YES EnGarde's Videos were always entertaining , and i loved Do a Bera Roll because my old liek best maple friend was in it (got pwned by the Crogs on the ship to Orbis and all that was said was like "Lag" epic..) i didnt however like the whole emo bit in his vid >.> was a waste of time imo.

That'll take some work. I already had planned in my head a video that syncs with "Move Along" since the lyrics seem to fit the idea of a Buccaneer constantly moving and doing different attacks/actions all the time. When I searched on Youtube how many people used that song in a Maple Video (although most are MMV), I was disappointed that it won't be anything new/original when I saw the results pull up a good few dozen videos.

*I also want "Move Along" since I like the song as well and is one of the songs that keeps me training when I play it from my collection of MP3s.

Humor.

The music can be crap, the animation can be crap, the quality can be almost crap...but if it's hilarious, then I'll watch it.

'Course, it can be hard to put that into a "training" video...

I'm mostly wondering about this since I plan on making a video on 'not doing the most damage' like other Night Lords, but to show Night Lord control, and how to do a reverse Flash Jump, most people don't even know how to do that..

no, inspiring stories don't mix well with a 3 minute video

just make it entertaining and use tappable music
