[GMS] Predictions - ver. 0.76

Fiel Wrote:He's the best chance we've got especially considering the release of him in MSEA.

No way. Krakia is our best bet. We were promised a masteria expansion months ago (NXprose before he quit/got fired), that blue blob is still on the loose, and those green things won't stop running around my screen when i start up MS. ;-;

Krakia 3 - Balrog boss 0. Rolleyes

The blockheads, being that they were put into the NEXON start up, leads me to believe its a new inhouse game made by Nexon. Itd be pretty interesting tho if they actually used their likeness in Maple as well a-@

I'm hoping the crappy world tours get added, since I won't have time for maple as much until I settle in to uni starting soon.

I hope they finally add dukus to singapore so we'll have a nice new place to train at since bishops only leech and never skele Rolleyes

Ulu city would be nice. Petrifighters look like a good training spot for high levels.

I don't see why. They're basically skeles, and afaik there's no pure spawn map. Or any map with enough of them to beat skeles.

Dukus only hit 2.5k anyway, not that hard to kill at all.

I also get the hunch that we'll be getting the Ereve tutorial as well.

I'm very sure that there's gonna be the halloween event next patch.

Hopefully we get the Balrog. Ive been anxious to solo this thing for awhile :S

You can solo it without using any skills above 2nd job? Cause that's what he is.

Why can't we get balrog boss AND Krakia? Nexon can't give a big patch?

We're just going to keep playing Catch up to MSEA. Balrog boss next patch, updated Cygnus creation. I don't think it'll be anything special. Hopefully we'll see Krakia in November after waiting 2 years since it was hinted.

When Nexon does Masteria, they don't add other large-ended content. Balrog boss could be a headliner for it's own patch, regardless of weather it's good or not.

I agree, Masteria is GMS' pet, they dont wanna have it over shadowed by another piece of content, much less something that would take time for it.

I think it's more of a "they want it to mesh with the other content" thing than a "we don't want masteria to suck compared to something else" thing.

all i can guess is Balrog Boss. has to be unless we get a Mastaria expansion. [Wishful thinking]

Whatever it is, please let it be high-level friendly. You would not believe the number of 150+ who quit simply because there's "nothing left to do," or people (some even on this forum) who believe there's "no point to level past 180."

I agree with you, and I hate having to; there should be PLENTY of things to look forward to as you gain levels, not the other way around.

So of things we know exist and are hopefully coming soon, I'm putting in my hopes for Neo Tokyo and Kaede Castle. Could we get either? Kaede Castle is more likely since MSEA just got it (so it's finally translated ^_^), while Neo Tokyo would logically come after such an update. Either way, Emperor/Poison Toad and the plethora of bosses in Neo Tokyo (Aufheben <3) would provide new excursions for high levels.

But those are just fantastical whims, as usual. In all honesty I think it's best to bench on Masteria expansion (someone put it well earlier by saying Masteria is GMS' pet, so with such a big gap since the last update we're bound to get something soon), Balrog boss, and new events/NX items. Sadly, I have a feeling Krakia or whatever Masteria expansion they add will favor to the same crowd as the Balrog boss (70-100ish), meaning yet another boring patch for anyone 150+.

P.S.: Before you call me out, I don't mean boring in the sense that I won't be one of the first people there exploring - I mean rather a patch that provides useful, exciting content that users return to again and again as a place that offers something fun and challenging. For example, I love Ariant (BGM Glitter) and Magatia, and enjoyed the storyline of the quests there on my ArchMage. Do I go there anymore? Nope. All quests are done, so it's rather pointless.

B> Content that's useful for more than a day.

Honestly, I really don't care what comes up. Granted it'll be "fun" with whatever they release, but really, something that would appeal to everyone rather than a few noobs would be great.

Well, you're level 200; can you give anyone a good reason to level past 180? Whether there's more high-level-friendly released content or not, there's pretty much no reason for anyone to level past 180 other than to "be 200".

Berserk as a passive skill ftw. Also, yay PA + FA being a winning damage combo for once.

Actually, all monsters in Ulu City except for Veetrons (the slimy monster hanging onto a beetle) and Slygies (the worms) have pure spawn maps.
