How about that they've been posted on a Maple Twitter? Sure Nexon has posted Nexon updates there but never anything concerning any other game. How about that they're riding on pigs during the intro? Logically, if it was their mascot it would either have them alone or with characters of all of their games and not just Maple. You can disassociate anything but there's a decent amount of evidence point to them being a part of Maple and not just some random new mascot. Besides that, a game company wouldn't use a random creature that no one recognizes for a mascot when they've got a wealth of VERY recognizable creations at their fingertips.

Not saying it can't be the mascot, just saying that if it is, it's gonna be implemented somewhere.

I thought that was a nod to which game it was. Like, if they are a new general Nexon mascot, they'd incorporate parts of each game into its own intro, along with the blockheads.

They actually DO play their games.

Just look at the screenshots of their private Tespia server in their Facebook page.

It looks like they're having fun more than testing. That's why we still have bugged patches.

After reading Doxinator's (?) post earlier in this thread, I think this was nailed on the head. I can see these monsters reflecting the theme park making TOTAL sense, and companies usually hint stuff in with little hidden things. The fact SEA used all those black blobs for monsters too could relate to this in some form too, well, the development of monsters at least. Maybe this isn't secret or hidden, but they have no other significance, what else then to speculate? Also, BLUE STITCH BEANIE THINGIE!!!!!!

Since they're advertising Blockparty.com as "Where friends go for live gaming" they're probably considering moving the games to that portal site instead of a generic Nexon one because it's "catchier" and are trying to build up hype and familiarity.

The Nexon logo itself is a block... so they decided to capitalize on that and expand in an attempt to create a 'recognizable' brand that people can 'identify' with, a cube being far too generic.

Now they have to connect the old brand to the new and they chose to start the process on their flagship product that has the largest user base. As far as these things go that's pretty typical.

Huh so blockparty.com is going to become the new hub for their games I take it? Interesting I suppose, they didnt really need a mascot, its sort of alienating their maturer audience that they've somewhat developed (though they do take a backseat to the younger ones in numbers).

it sounds and looks like a omgpop.com type service, nexon korea and japan already offer an arcade service...

community arcades are becoming really popular, candystand; omgpop;kongregate, it wouldn't really be surprising...
