Steps to depopulate Scania

On a more serious note, when did Nexon last block people from logging into Scania? I remember spam clicking with Enter held down for a minute or two whenever I tried logging in in 2006ish. Then they upgraded the servers.... xP

I think disabling character creation completely would do the trick well... unless it counts Cygnus.

If somebody really wants to play with their friends, they could transfer to another server to hang out with them. Or there could be a friend code that people in Scania can give to one friend so they can get in, but it only works once. Otherwise a jackass could post the code everywhere and then the whole idea would be useless.

I wish Nexon would actually do something like this. I've been in Scania since the beginning, so I absolutely refuse to to pay $20 to move. The overcrowding is ridiculous when you're just looking for a boss to kill, not to mention the unbearable lag during 2x events.

Nexon should give free world transfers to Scanians willing to transfer to Yellonde or Demethos. It solves two problems.

There should be an in-game event where the sky opens up, sucks in thousands of Scanians, and leaves them in another world. That would both be awesome and functional.

There would still be people stealing the pots and stealing the bosses. I dont think that would help much. Except it would radically change the market since everyone's mules would be deleted

Using different mule accounts is the best way to protect your stuff (unless you have a keylogger then it doesn't matter)

I do. 99.9% of the time, people don't get hacked by keyloggers, that's so lol. People give away their information and are too embarrassed to admit their own stupidity.

Quite frankly I think they should block out Bera too and redirect all characters that want to be in Scania or Bera to Yellonde and Demethos.

I have 2 4th jobs, do you really think one account worth of mules is enough to store the amount of crap they generate? I have a separate account that I use for ores and FM stuff (ores on mule 1, refined on mule 2, selling on mule 3). All in all I have 9 or 10 dedicated mules filling various purposes. I still leave a bunch of stuff on my DK (dex equips and BW scrolls) but I don't really consider it as a mule.


It's also kinda nice to be able to set up a FM shop without having to stop training.

So you assume that this would require them to have no friends already existing on the server? By that logic why don't you just make all your friends world transfer with you, huh?
