Bizarre Monster Book Error

By this reasoning we shouldn't care about anything ever. Just 'cause it won't matter later doesn't mean it shouldn't matter now. If it's something you care about and enjoy and have worked hard on then it's worth getting angry about, even if it makes you look silly. 'cause now is what's important. PS I just tried relogging and it's still shuffled in the same way that it was before.

I know you love your book. But raging to the extremes that you are showing isn't going to fix your cards. Like TKWizard posted earlier, it's happened before and was resolved apparently.

I'm pretty sure my book is messed up somewhere, but I'm not going to let it bother me. I survived having glitched Buccaneer skills for a month, I'm sure you'll be able to survive a little card shuffling.

I think she's right to be angry. Did you know the time and efforts behind that? I mean, it's like if you are working hard on the writing of a book of 1000++ pages and, suddently, some pages are missing. You need to rewrite them. The fact it's pixels doesn't matter. It's work man.

I looted a Memory Guardian card, but it says I have all 5. everything after that point is messed up.


This has probably only affected people who have gotten a TT or Elin card since the patch. If this is indeed the case it should be pretty easy to fix, but the longer they take to acknowledge it the harder it will be. My advice for now is to avoid picking up any cards from this area, unless you want to confirm the theory.

ShiKage, when they fixed it before, did they just make it so it stopped shuffling or did they actually revert it? Because I'm worried that Nexon will take the lazy route and just stop them from shuffling and I'll be stuck with a half-assed book

Well, it was actually fixed TWICE! We had this bug actually hit us twice in a row, each time when new cards were added. The two times this happened were the Shaolin Temple patch and the TT patch.

You can't compare real life efforts to a game. This will get fixed in due time, and raging over it like the fist of the north star isn't going to speed up the process.

Your right for the part that raging will not bring things better but an achievement is an achievement. I know it's not important as real life stuff but, i repeat, it take time and efforts.

Happened here as well, got both a guardian and chief guardian of memory card; just one; and when I re-logged I had 3 and 4 respectively... it didn't seem that I lost any boss cards in the meanwhile but... knowing this makes me spooked to log out.

EDIT: Dangit, double checked and I only have one of the last 3 PQ bosses and 3 of the first 2 where I used to have 3 and 5 respectively. Like I needed a boost in my Mano card count .

Oh, sorry, my bad. But you still didn't explain what happened with the fix. Did it revert them or did they stay screwed up and just stop shuffling.

Also I had calmed down but now I'm raging again because Nexon closed my ticket with even responding to it. What a bunch of stupid fucks.

No offense but, it seems they didn't take any of your cards, but switched them for other instead. isn't that the same? I mean I understand you're mad, but I don't think it's enough reason to be in "so much anger" :f6:

Yeah, it's not like paying a few thousand Maple Leaves for certain cards that you can't possibly get is hard to do or anything. Just gotta grab a few thousand leaves again and- oh wait.

Where the cards messed by sections or spread every where? Like all your leviathan cards getting exchanged for slime cards. If that's what happened then I understand, if not I still understand you are mad but not to that extreme.

For people who are like "What's the big deal?" let me paint you a little scenario:
One day you log in on your Hermit and find that all your Skills have randomly changed. No longer do you have maxed Lucky Seven. Instead, you have Double Stab. You would be understandably upset; you can't do what you formerly wanted to do because of this stupid mistake. Whenever you tell your friends about it, they can't understand why it matters. "A skill is a skill!" they say. "Why do you care what skill it is? It's not like you lost any SP!"


Fact of the matter is we were looking forward to hunting new cards today, and not only can we *not* hunt new cards, but we can't hunt old cards either, and our existing cards got all messed up. This is especially frustrating considering we all spent the last 6 weeks deliberately and precisely choosing cards only to have someone take them all and hand an equivalent number ones back. If Crimson Balrog is a 100$ bill and Mano is a 1$ Bill, are you really going to say "They're both dollar bills!"

my book is unaffected and the only card i have gotten since patch time is a 2nd platoon chronos.

edit: w/ isaacs post in mind -- i have relogged since getting that card and nothing was changed, but i did already have it.

at the very least you can hunt cards you already have if you havent fucked up your book yet.

When you have 5 of 1 monster in your book, and you look at it, it shows a little medal instead of the # 5.

plus the fact that some of the cards we lost(atleast for me) were cards i purchased via Tienk. Such as pq boss cards im unable to attain now.. and they were purchased using leaves that i purchased with meso. soo technically they just stole meso from me. <_<
