Knights of Cygnus DPS

a level 120 SM's damage on HT would be really really bad

assuming he had the enormous amount of accuracy required to hit it at that level

Who goes to HT for exp? lol

I'm not asking if they should, but if they actually could do it.

Your adventurers get buffs even if you don't have a cygnus (eg. level 50 and 30 adventurers will get level 3 and 5 Blessing). If you have a 120 Cygnus, your adventurers would get 12 Blessing, unless your account has multiple 130+ adventurers (in which case they'd each get 13+ blessing, and so would the Cygnus)

So if i get to 130, me and my striker get instant +13 attack?

No. Your Striker gets 13 attack.

You wouldn't, other characters on your account would.

For an example...

On my account I have a 13x Paladin and an 8x Priest.

The priest would get a 13 attack boost, useful for priests really, as would my third character.

The Paladin would get an 8 attack boost from the priest.

Well accuracy is also a problem. I don't any class can, except for maybe mages, who aren't accepted easily anyways o_o.

Soul Masters- Has the HP but doesn't have the ACC
Windbreakers- Has the ACC but doesn't have the HP
Flame Wizard - I think they can
Night Walkers - Not enough HP
Striker - Not enough ACC

Is there such a thing? :f6:
Does that apply for all races or just for Cygnus?

All races. Your base damage is reduced by x% when attacking any monster higher level than you, where x is the level difference. If you were to attack a hittable level 200 monster at level 100 you could only hit 1 damage.

Fun is what should matter from making a Cygnus. Lime from playing a new kind of race and learning more about the war against the black magician.

That alone is enough for me.

Btw, many ppl says Cygnus can't do bossing, so if there any limitation (besides hp) that keeps them from it?
Because if no, Soulmasters could even HT :f6:

Your forgetting level:Accuracy formulas, you would need a ton of dex to hit HT at 120.. LOL

Only a pure dex blood Wind Breaker has the "potential" to hit HT 100%, but then again, the damage would suck (level difference penalty), but then again - again, who kills HT today? Both exp, drops AND the HT Pendants are worthless... especially when you have Time Temple for Genesis30 book drops and CwKPQ for MoN Pendants...

You should see Cygnus classes as unique classes, in a way that warriors get flash jump and an awesome training attack, archers get massive transform skills, pirates get passive criticals and lightning element charge, thieves get venom spammage with an insane powerfull ranged mob venom training attack, and mages... well they can cast their AoE at lvl 100+...

Btw on DPS (did some calcs):
- FireWiz sucks on single target (as usual), but can be used as mini-leech bots
- WB's and NW's only do good damage when they get SE buffed with SE mules
- STR's are second in damage without buffs, but are best when buffed with SE and fighting on lightning elemental (lvl 120 striker does same damage as a lvl 200 buc with Demolition on Headless Horseman, which is lightning weak), that's just epic Tongue
- SW's are strongest without other classes' buffs, and get fj...

I guess most people will make Soul Warriors, just for the soul runner and good damage lulz... Tongue

I can see them being much better leechers than anyone thinks. They can leech anywhere they want to, and if luckless with a fire staff could probably 2hko newties at 120.

Does anyone have any good guesses as to what a flame wizard + fire staff + neutral attacks buff would do?

Elemental Reset sets the element of all attacks to neutral. That probably means the fire staff wont affect it anymore.
As for damage on neutral mobs, I calculated with clean equips that a lukless flame wizard with a fire staff does 33819~44459. With 50 magic attack more it becomes 36993~48303.

O wait, thats with 40% amp, Flame Wizards only have 30%... That shaves off around 3k damage, getting around 34k damage min. Just a rough calculation, but they probably can 2hko Jr. Newties and 3hko Nest Golems.
