Updated.

Updates for v1.2:
-Changed the attack speed for Battleship Cannon to 630/600
-Fixed Rapid Fire's skill table to match the kMST updates
-Revamped the HP/MP section on the Equips tab
-Added slots for Medal, Belt, and Blessing of the Sprite in the Equips tab

By the way, is anyone actually making use of this stuff? I won't bother uploading it anymore if no one's using it.

New to version 1.4 is my Hits to Kill calculator!
 Spoiler
Quite possibly the most useful thing I've ever created. It shows your exact % chance to xHKO a monster with whatever HP/Defense you input. Since I don't know any stats, I did this entirely with Algebra! Sadly, it does not yet work with SE. I don't quite have the statistical know-how to figure that out quite yet. If there's anyone who has passed Stats that wishes to help me, feel free to PM me. Anyway, I'm very proud of this and I hope you find it useful.

Updates for v1.4:
-Added a Hits to Kill Calculator. Check the Hits to Kill tab to view it!
-Fixed Octopus' attack speed
-Fixed Echo damage calculation (rounding issues)
-Changed the "Average Hits to KO" section to reference the "Hits to Kill" tab
-Added Elemental Affinity for Ice Splitter and Flamethrower
-The "Points Washable" cell in the HP/MP section now has the option of showing decimals
-More Ring and Pendant equip slots added for greater ease of use
-Renamed "Homing" to "Bullseye"

I'd really like to know if anyone is actually using this stuff. And if so, what for?

I knew I'd snag you. Also, I need someone to tell me that everything works with Excel, since I don't have it.

I dunno, it doesn't seem to work correctly. When I loaded it up it told me a lot of data was unreadable and I got a bunch of missing formulas.

Screenshots please. Also, I hate Excel for CONSTANTLY PISSING ME OFF. Also, while you're at it, can you unprotect each sheet and tell me if it still doesn't work? There's no password.

I'm pretty sure I fixed the problem with Excel as of 7pm EST on the 18th. If you downloaded the Excel version before then, I suggest you redownload it so that your Hits to Kill section can work. If you downloaded the Open Office version, you don't need to do anything.

Just to be sure, can someone with Excel download it and tell me it works?

Did you re-download it after I said to?

Thank you. After you said this, I spent a while thinking about what might be wrong with that, because I had noticed a similar problem with 2HKOing Oblivion monks, but I didn't think anything of it. After some investigation, I figured out what the problem is and fixed it accordingly. I'm working on applying it to all my stuff and I'll have the corrected version up as soon as I finish.

What I had been doing is taking a base chance to KO the monster (In this case, the % of your damage range that's over the amount each hit needs to do) and putting it to the power of a modifier for that number to account for multiple hits being subject to the Law of Large Numbers. The problem is that I was using this modifier even if the attack was only hitting once (e.g. the first Air Strike on a monster).

 Math for those interested

Anyway, the change I'm about to make will affect Torpedo the most. More specifically, you'll see all numbers below 50% increase, and all numbers above 50% decrease (for all skills).

EDIT
Okay, I fixed it. The first post was updated with the link. Sorry to all who just re-downloaded it, you'll have to re-re-enter your stats/equips.

You said the sheet is not blocked with a password. Am I allowed to make modifications (if I'm able enough to do it) so I can make the damage calculation for mages and use your "hits to kill thing"?

EDTI: I just tried opening the sheet with my excel 2003 and it gave me an error. I guess it is because of the old version...

Nope, I just opened up 1.41 on Excel 2007 and the same problem occured, where it found unreadable content. :f6:

After receiving some screenshots from Dusk, I can now see that there are some massive compatibility issues between OpenOffice and Excel (especially Excel on Vista). I realized that my version of OpenOffice doesn't even know Vista exists, so I'm currently getting the newest version of OpenOffice and I've found an extension to hopefully make this work out better. I'll be back later with more information.

But yeah, it's a goddamn shame that the sheet is pretty much unreadable on Dusk's version. It looks nasty too. Can anyone with an older version of Excel show me how it looks to them?
