OT: Last night was just...ugh. Completely reinforced how, sorry, even though it's my senior year I hate my life right now, with regards to feeling stuck out here in Wisconsin, and need to move to New York immediately. I'm just so done with literally everything now, even close friends. I mean people are still great, but I don't have best friends, I don't have a relationship, and while I don't NEED those right now per se, it's not like I'm finding them here.

God I'm ready for my life to begin.

I've been sick since Thursday night. So, while any type of college halloween fun may be taking place, I am in my dorm feeling like crap

Sinus pressure/sore throat/congestion/achy. Ughhhh

I've been drinking a lot of fresh lime juice/honey/hot water to soothe my throat.

Went to an Irish pub for dinner with the fam then headed over to my friend's house to watch Parks and Rec so it was a pretty swell day.

EDIT: I was really harsh with what I originally wrote here, with big thanks to being wasted, cold, grumpy, tired, and hungry at the time. My roommate is still a close friend and my closest friend group absolutely doesn't suck.

The disappointing realization I was trying to reconcile was that I'll never be closer to any of them than I am now, and they're all closer with one another than I am with any of them. It's the idea of feeling like you're in the circle, but sitting in the chair that was quickly wedged between others so the circle's a little oblong and you're the protrusion. In other words, I'm in a weird limbo, for all intents and purposes within this group but, from time to time, can observe with clarity the moments I'm just outside.

Blah. Just editing this really so I can rethink through everything via exposition. Ultimately I feel content and kind of happy - well, whatever the step below happiness is - and thus not satisfyingly, exuberantly happy, which I think will come in time as I move, meet new people, and develop deeper friendships and relationships.

Went to a gay club and could not stop staring at the hottest bearish dancer ugh fml FML. Now I have to be at work at 8AM tomorrow!

My cousins played a prank by setting all the clocks ahead 4 hours.

Back at my real home now for a week, i'm really happy to be away from University for a while, and as much as it pains me to say it, away from Mr. Sweden.
It's gonna be good to chill, eat some proper meals and spend some time with my dogs and the whole family when we go to the funeral.

Eurgh, I miss Mr. Sweden already. I'm planning on taking him to a fireworks show when he gets back from Sweden.. because the day we get back is bonfire night!

Started the day yesterday with a great hour of Saturday morning Kendo practice. I was also pleasantly surprised with our football team getting a win over USC, I wish I actually went to the game now instead of staying home and watching it on TV. Other than that I got together with some buddies for a little Halloween gaming time and we ended up having a blast playing Resident Evil 6 until 2:30 in the morning. This is the first weekend in a while that I've had where I have time to do the things other than studying for looming exams or writing papers that are due early in the week, so I'm glad I've been able to enjoy it to the fullest before all this free time goes away in the near future.

No classes tomorrow due to Hurricane Sandy! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

Maple-wise:Got a VIP Spear AND VIP 2H SWORD. Reunited with the sword I loved the most since...EVER. Even if I'm completely Lionheart now, I'll cherish it....ALWAYS.

IRL:Got a gaming laptop.
Edit:And as well contenplating well, things. Found an old tablet that I thought I could use for drawings, but it's horridly outdated. Dear god. Luckily, my uncle will look into some workable tablets...Yes, I draw as well.
