Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

Thornmail would be better. With the help of Kaj and Purp, I have developed a TANK DIAGRAM, AKA A TANKAGRAM (remember that I don't use mana items due to Shen)

Thornmail is for ranged DPS.
Sunfire Cape is for melee DPS.
Banshee's Veil is my main item to reduce magic damage.
Randuin's is for physical damage in general, generally pineapples the squishies over when I dash over to them and use the active.
Force of Nature is the second MRes item I get, usually don't end up getting it.
Every team should have one Aegis, but since I'm not necessarily in the lane with teammates all the time I don't really use it.

I'll add more if I remember. I guess Frozen Heart is good against physical DPS too? ?_?

The true damage makes me think itemizing to mess up Vayne rather than hold out against her is better. Tabi for dodge (Singed+dodge speed mastery is fun) and Randuin's seem like smart calls. I'd be a fool not to get Thornmail at all, but maybe 2nd. I'll play around with my build after RoA for a few games.

The only True counter against vayne is killing her, and reducing her AD damage since she does no Magic Damage. Her True damage is only every 3 hit so if you manage to run the 3° one no damage done (If you are the tank of course). Alternatively you can reduce her ASP as much and posible and try to kill her then.

That's what I figure. Armor isn't hard to come by, but doing something about percent true damage is hard. Making it happen less often by reducing attack speed and dodging to avoid silver bolt procs sounds wise.

Only her True damage is Op so in fact im talking about both things.

According to the one who designed vayne, he made her EXTREMELY strong on purpose BUT also EXTREMELY weak to compensate. All according to the "Ezreal Standard" as another player called it and a Red confirmed it.

Lost one ranked game tonight...boy I was pissed. Then...

 Two Fails for the other team. Huge fails. In a ranked game

Holy crap. I thought I'd never had this opportunity: Playing Shen in a ranked game. I nearly creamed my pants upon seeing this. Turns out the other team had the second choice for bans (2 bans at once); they NEVER BANNED SHEN. Told one of my teammates to grab it; I volunteered immediately to use Shen. Told the guy who switched with me (he got my Cho'Gath) that things will be fine because when Shen's around in ranked games, that's going to turn many things in our favor.

Turns out it was true. We did so well that I didn't have to use Stand United (didn't see anyone in distress). Helped Jax get fed in the beginning. This resulted in him getting heavily fed throughout the game. By then he was unstoppable. Helped Taunt many enemies, and securing the kills. Best of all, I helped screw the other team over.

We did get Baron around the 26 minute mark, and finished the game off about 5-7 minutes later at their Nexus. Overall, I did very well, except for that one time my team was caught out of position at bottom.

I understand that I'm low ELO, but still....the other team pays dearly for its mistakes.

I hear that Shen isn't an instaban in ranked anymore. Can anyone confirm/deny?

Zilean/Nocturne dont get banned as much as they did anymore it seems.

Shen's nerfs this patch made him far less viable now. He's rarely banned / picked in high ELO ranks anymore. He's gone down from being a top ban / pick to being a 4th / 5th pick.

EDIT: Keep forgetting to mention this, but that game near noon time with you, me, dante, and two others had something I wanted to talk to you about. Before they surrendered, Warwick and Veigar were chasing you down middle lane. I knew Warwick would want to ult you the first chance he got, so I saved my Equilibrium Strike. Apparently he was warry of my counter response to his ult. You got quite a bit of a way back to the other side after ghosting, but then when you turned around and Rune Prisoned him, I was like "damnit Duel why'd you do that" and slapped E on him in hopes of slowing him down. But then you decided to turn around anyways, and first thing that came to my mind was "Exhaust or he's dead."

Moral of the story: know champion abilities and their cooldowns plz!

EDIT2: Based on LoL Replay, I took Cait's ult in the face to save your ass after WW died.

ugh, shittiest ranked game EVER. we were doing fine until amumu decides to feed 1/13 causing their singed to be so f'ucking fat.

I just got out of a game where enemy zil and cho bought 0 items all game, and even though they were attempting to help their team instead they just fed me 10 kills in laning lol.
I reported them after the game for intentionally feeding and buying 0 items. Never have I seen a pair of trolls grief together in normal games like that.

Reminds me of when I try to slow the opposing members with Xin's Charge, with possible TTS, to help the teammates escape lol
