its been down for so long ... and its gonna be down again in 3 days or whatever for the patch ... sure is very little time to maple this summer.
if the server comes on will the flashing red stop and turn green automatically ? or will there be wait time ?

FYI people... there's plenty of other games to play other than Maple/Vindictus/DFO. I'm suffering too, but I'm not gonna just sit down and wait for the Nexon servers to be back up.

How about play TF2? It's F2P guises.

It is annoying, specially when it has eaten into 10mins of 2x exp. Even through I'm sure it will be rescheduled it gives anyone a license to rage.

As I later noted, being mad is fine... but when you seem like you're seething with rage (not you of course)... it just gets stupid. It gets even worse when we get people demanding nexon to compensate them. Almost as if nexon's required to.

It's fine to be slightly mad about. It's fine to hope for some compensation because maybe nexon does slightly care for us enough to give us some. But to demand compensation as if it's some RIGHT you have for playing the game... well that's just...

Maplestory is srs business lols. But seriously I think some users are just releasing some pent up frustration with Nexon; MS is quite a painful game to play at times.

lol ToS are only meant for avoiding legal actions for access to their servers and games. Besides that, ToS are always overruled by laws if they contradict those. But noone is talking about taking legal action here, lol.

lol ToS are only meant for avoiding legal actions for access to their servers and games. Besides that, ToS are always overruled by laws if they contradict those. But noone is talking about taking legal action here, lol.

3. Never said raging was a crime. I AM saying that to me, it makes one look like a 7 year old playing Final Fantasy 7 and can't get out of the building before the frikkin' timer is up, so he throws his controller at the wall and yells his head off.

5. The ToS ONLY holds legal issues? But not the information stated in a previous reply that shows other content referring to what Nexon DOESN'T owe us and can TAKE AWAY from us at anytime? If I'm wrong, then it may not be in the ToS, or the license agreement, but they sure as hell let us know.

And as their customer, they aren't require to do sh'it for you. Look at your bold, then look at the following:




You agreed to the terms of service in order to play. Thus you agreed that they aren't under any obligation to do squat for you if the game isn't available, whether or not it was them that took it down... with or without notice.

I hope you realize that the ToS is just to save their butts from being sued.
It does not define good customer service.

Most stores have these sorts of agreements too, but to keep loyal customers, they do more than the bare minimum.

Every company needs document it's written law. NEXON's ToS states they only have to do bare minimum. If you don't like then there's a simple solution:look the other way.

Oh, indeed I'm mad, because just look at how heavy my post is, and the caps lock, oh and keyboard attacking, don't forget the overuse of exclamation marks. Clearly, I'm mad. SO, come at me bro. >:O

I did not deny that they aren't doing anything wrong.

As I said, they may be legally correct, but does that mean they have good customer service? You can do more than the bare minimum of your ToS. Companies maintain customer satisfaction by doing more than the bare minimum.

I am just pointing this out to the people who keep pulling out the ToS to tell players to not complain. No one is pursuing legal action against Nexon for having their servers down, so pulling out the ToS for customers dissatisfied about not being able to play is pointless.

Now do you understand what I am trying to get at?
