Original Dragon Nest Thread
Worst part of the sorceress is ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! spam seriously the rest excluding the getting hit voice sounds good...

The other English voices sound good and not squeaky and annoying unlike the Japanese/Korean ones, only real annoying thing is the unenthusiastic chaa chaa crap on a certain archer.

Yeah sorry I like understanding what is being said and I am an american whose native tongue is English. My Japanese animation loving days have long gone by twas a phase.

i can't say i'm satisfied, but until i start manticore farming this will have to do.

does anyone know what equips i should be looking for to maximize damage? right now i'm just decked out in +8 greens i enhanced myself (i'm broke too, lol).
<3 Priest. Summoning relics for massive mob control. Perfectly fits this particular character too (well, it's about as close as I can get with having a Megaman.EXE character cosplay in Dragon's Nest, I suppose).

Although... How does potential work in this game? I kept getting one-lined stuff until I used a spark on my old +10 shield, and got this...

Does it have anything to do with the amount of enhancements, or is it all ridicuously random like in Maple? Too bad Priests can't really make much use of this, compared to Crusaders. Contemplating selling this for something like 40 gold tomorrow, unless there's a Crusader here at SouthPerry that plays in Velskud that would want it. SouthPerry discount of 20 gold then. >_>

On the subject of Crusaders, I keep getting Crusader-like potentials as a Priest. My wand used to have a physical damage potential, so I reset it (bad idea? I'm thinking physical damage doesn't do anything for priests aside from basic attacks) and got paralyze. I have two pieces of armor that give Strength as well. Bleargh.

ggFTW Dragon Nest Section Wrote:Potential is a system where an item may be granted bonus effects and stats. This may only be done once to each item, however, it can be reset with an item and done again to match the player's needs. A crafted item will retain its potential from the item that was used to craft it.

Potentials require the appropriate rarity onyx code to match the item. A rare or higher onyx code is needed to potential a rare item. They must also be the appropriate onyx code for the type of equipment (Weapon, armor, or accessory.)

The higher the rarity of the item, the more likely the item will have multiple potentials.

The following are a list of possible potentials:

Armor

* Para resist +3.75%
* Int +3.5%
* Crit resist +9.75%
* stun resist +4.75%
* +6.50% max MP
* +4.50% agility
* Strength +4.5%
* Max HP +6.5%

Weapons

* Paralyze +13.50%
* Strength +4.5%
* +5.8-5.8% physical damage
* Int +3.5%

Accessories

* +5.8-5.8% magic damage
* +5.8-5.8% physical damage
* +4.50% strength
* +6.50% max MP
* +4.50% agility
* +3.50% intellect
* +6.5% max HP
* +3.75% para resist
* +9.75% crit resist

I think Rare and higher always have at least 2 potential slots.
Wow, I didn't even see this thread! Playing an acrobat and an elementalist in Gerrant.

Acrobat - Alkaia - Level 19 - Main.

I originally started with sorceress in closed beta, and was my original intent, but I was making an archer waiting for a few friends to get their client installed...and grew attached to it. xD

Advancing to an Acrobat brought on a whole new playstyle I hadn't expected. A quick one to learn, yet still fun at that.
Holypie Wrote:Tikey how do you farm epics? I've never seen a gold rabbit before.

I don't. xD I get them from the market.

totally random like maple, except that you can get 1 lined stuff. I've gotten 3 lines on a shield and weapon, 2 lines on a shirt and accessories, and 1 lines on everything else. I just can't figure out which ones reveal potential on which ones :C And i dunno how to get higher level ones.

Don't forget to craft on Attributes.
Still waiting till I get jellies so I can +10 this Heroic Skeleton Hammer I got.
Secun Wrote:Don't forget to craft on Attributes.
wait, what?
chrome Wrote:wait, what?

Craft a better Quiver using that one.
Jon Wrote:Craft a better Quiver using that one.

I have been trying to figure out how to do this to no avail.
won't it lose its enhancements?
Rayquaza2233 Wrote:I have been trying to figure out how to do this to no avail.

Talk to the enhancement dude but do Crafting instead. You can only craft/upgrade level 24 stuff.
holy crap enhancements are carried over, i love this game
You know a game is totally awesome when it freezes immediately after loading.

And now since the server traffic is "full", I can't seem to get in anymore. Great >_>

Anyways... I've been extracting crap on quite a few things. I can't establish a definite pattern on what gives out better stuff yet. However, I've gotten 9x Comet Dust from one item once (a magical compared to the three rares, all of which I destroyed at the same time), and I've gotten the hair geode I mentioned earlier.
I'm ChaosZakum on the West server. :3

Do not remember what its called.

Im new so if anyone wants to give me a hand, that would be kind of you.
About to go through getting the rest of the Lv15 Abyss achievements.
That Ring is nice, but I mostly want the titles for clearing every achievement.
