How was your day?
1 week of classes and pomegranate is getting real already, I was expecting more easy time. I need to study math, but right now I'm busy doing some exercises from the previous math course since I applied and got a part time job as a helper student (I do a problems class once a week and I take and check the quizzes), it's fun for now, working on these is a lot easier than it was when I was taking the class, tomorrow is my first actual class, kinda nervous, hopefully it won't be to full nor too empty @.@

Other than that we got the first assignment for "Information storage and management" which is basically a pre-database class, it looks long and painful mainly because we're required to code on C for this one. Second one is in C# I believe and then one in MySQL which I have no knowledge of but will hopefully be better than the hard coding from C.

On less-study related news, I started reading "The girl who played with fire today" and it's reaaally good so far, just like The girl with the dragon tattoo was.

Currently typing this on my sister's laptop since I (finally) took mine to repair the keyboard. Won't have it back til sometime next week.

Keeping myself busy. Played through God of War III, en route to my platinum trophy. Finally finished Radiant Historia, and I've got Skyward Sword and Xenoblade to get through. Also since my dad picked up Hunger Games on DVD I'm reading through the book so I can watch the movie asap.

Also took a trip to Toronto with a friend because she wanted to see this movie they were filming and meet the star. I was bored out of my mind and we waited for 4 hours watching basically nothing happen on set and then he finally came over to sign her book and gave her a hug. The things I do for my friends GOD.

Went on a shopping spree for things i'll need when I move out in a few weeks. My brother hated it (he's moving out too), but I really enjoyed it. Feels like I'm getting somewhere in life.
Already started weighing up bargains and shopping like a true student. :3

God I can't wait. Living on my own terms is gonna be great, and i'm going to make the most of it.

I've got my first day of class tomorrow, and still haven't gotten the books for my English class. Great! Had a production party at work tonight, got out 16 pieces and really helped my numbers even though I'm tremendously behind. I don't think I'll ever catch up, but my sales are still going strong.

So my fiance tells me when we first met "I can't cook" and I'm thinking to myself, *man that kind of sucks*..

Well here in Toronto, there are literally tons of Chinese and Hong Kong style restaurants to eat at, and I have a pasta dish that happens to be one of my favorites. I remember ordering it once while we were out to eat, and she said something like "I know how to make that!" Naturally, I thought she was kidding. Well today at home, I'm downstairs working, and I hear some pots and pans and such banging around upstairs, so I go see what's up, and there she is saying she is going to make me that dish. I was afraid....

But damn! She didn't just make it, she made it better than the place I first had it! Now I know for sure, she's been holding out on me! All the things she said she can't do well, she CAN! Such as sing, dance, and COOK!!!!!!!

Needless to say, today was a good day. We finished up the night by watching The Da Vinci Code, it was my first time seeing it and it was pretty enjoyable =)
