I'm really interested in this game. What are your guys thoughts. Is it worth it? It would require me to buy a new computer, but I have been meaning to do so anyways to play more modern games.

If you like having personal adventures, this is the perfect game for you. Just a magnificent "single player" mode that I cannot thing any other MMORPG right now can beat.

From what I understand it's not glitched, you just cannot do anything guild related in overflow maps. At least, that is what I heard in the chat earlier.

Been playing pretty much non-stop since the headstart. Sitting at level 27 with the first 4 area's 100%'d. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do anything with you guys because I'm on Blackgate with all my roommates. :o

I personally haven't been able to play much, sadly, started uni last week so really i have no time for it super sad about it, but oh well!

I'm going to be playing casually, so I'm still level 7. I thought you could do everything except WvW cross-server?

HOLY SH*T that first lvl 30 dungeon is super super long and super super super hard. Holy sh*t wow. wowowow

I hope by hard you're talking about Explorable Mode. Story Mode is piss easy.

I LOVE DOING ALL THE JUMP PUZZLES, but too scared to do WvW one, lol.

Are you talking about the same thing as me? The mobs in there were hitting for 1k and I have 4k health. The bosses could easily kill you in 2 hits and the king would 1 shot you. Unless there's some secret way to get more powerful in this game myself, or anyone in my group, is unaware of, there's no way you would think it's easy.

Okay. Maybe not "piss easy", but it is a lot easier than other events I've done. If it was Explorable Mode, you would have had to vote between 3 paths. Most groups took up to 8hrs because they weren't sure of what they had to do, whereas Story Mode is fairly straightforward.

A good party will take an hour or less regardless of mode.

That doesn't sound too bad, considering at level 12 I have ~1k Life on my Thief and most stuff hits me for about 300.

Things still hit hard in GW, that's for sure.

have you actually done it? I just can't see how anyone could classify it as easy in any shape or form. Ascalon Catacombs?

Only finished Story Mode in BWE2. I wasn't even overlevelled, only lvl 33 or 34.

Story Mode is somewhat challenging as far as combat goes, but it really is straight forward. It just kind of takes a while. They had to fix certain parts of Explorable Mode to make it easier for parties to identify what they did wrong since most people wiped just after they got their first waypoint.

For comparison, I found the Flame Legion event in lvl 15~25 Charr area a lot more challenging than AC Story Mode.

So I went after work to pick up my copy since the GameStop where I pre-ordered opens an hour after I get off my shift.

I knew the CE was big from the Fellicia Day video...but for some reason I wasn't expecting it to be this big. My 24" monitor is barely bigger than the box.

By the way, does anyone know where I'm supposed to go at level 15 as a Charr? I finished all the heart quests in Plains of Ashford so I headed north to Diessa Plateau. The zone is supposedly level 15 - 25 but there are level 22 - 24 mobs all around the entrance to the zone, and they one shot me. (I have 1.4k hp, they actually hit me for 1.4k). What am I doing wrong?
