Wow, had a really good round as Ashe, walked away with 13 kills and a 4 kill streak with only 6 deaths. Preferring ranged characters and spellcasters definitely.

So I'm tryna pick up twisted fate while he's free.

He's really fun and his burst makes me smile lols.

On top of that, he looks so badass.

He's a very unique champ, and a badass tank as well. Nearly unkillable late game if played right, and if you go AP with him, he does massive dmg

Inb4 Nunu. . Though I just looked him up and looks like his AP ratio isn't that broken compared to Nunu. I'm guessing he's naturally powerful with spells?

Anyways, will my Nunu build (half AP items, half MDef/PDef armors) work on Cho'Gath?

And just wondering, can his ultimate devour enemy champs? :f6:

I'd build cho gath with items like frozen heart, banishes vail, randiuns omen(sp?), and that one magic resist item...it has the movespeed and health regen too. GA is a decent item on cho as well, but not really needed. more of a troll item. People love to focus cho first though so you really need the defenses items. His spells are naturally strong, so he doesnt really need an ap build. He is AMAZING in lane, great champ so solo if you have a jungler or can even take mid and shut down the enemy carry. He does take a bit of getting used to, so maybe first few times go in a side lane. His ult does work on champs. If you can land your silence and knock up on a squishy, feast is very likely to finish them off. Another tihng to take note of is that feast does more damage than smite, great for protecting/stealing baron or any other jungle creep. Cho can also jungle, but he is much better in lane.

For my Nunu build, the items I'm supposed to accumulate are (in no particular order): Randouins Omen, RoA, Deathcap, Spirit Visage, Mercury Threads, Banshee Veil. Assuming I complete this, my defenses will be high enough for people to NOT try to lifesteal from me, even though I may look like a giant ball of HP walking around.

So I decided I'd pick up the Collector's pack whilst on Amazon yesterday, as I've enjoyed playing so far in spite of my sucktitude/noobiness. I was considering whether or not to make a new account for it, but the only crossover characters I have with it are Sivir and Kayle, so I figure I'll just use my existing account. I'll lose a bit of IP that way, but I don't really see much point in starting a new account when it's just that bit.

His spells have pretty high base damage, and they scale incredibly well with AP.

Yes, his ult devours any unit other than allies, and it does true damage, meaning it ignores resists and will always do a certain amount of damage (but shields like lux's and such will still block it)

Just curious, is there any good AP item that also has a passive effect for lowering cooldown time for skills?

And for Mejai's Soulstealer, for its definition of a "kill", is "kill" defined by getting kills on minions and champions? And is this item good for both Nunu and Cho'Gath due to its possibility of getting +160 AP with full stacks (20 stacks) on and 15% cooldown?

Mejai's is good if you're doing good.
And cho'gath got the most broken effective AP scaling seeing his ulti is true damage and 1:1. Even nunu's 1.5 or so will be reduced a lot by MR.

Trynd always tries to ult at 200~300hp in a teamfight if he's under fire.
Feels awesome to ulti a trynd at 700 hp before wants to ult

With cho'gath?
Drop spirit visage, his passive is good in the laning phase but not worth getting visage for later in the game.
And deathcap is a luxury item rylai's is amazing on him and can completely change a fight.

Mejai's, sword of the occult, leviathan etc all require champion kills or assists.

You have to be getting a lot of champion kills/ assists in order to get anything worth the trouble on items like mejais. It's not a cost effective item if you can't keep it over 5 stacks and no, minoins don't help your stacks.

Right, I forgot to ask around so I might as well do it now.

I'll probably start playing ranked seriously soon. ATM kajitii is the only player I think that I could duo q with from sp.net (no offense intended to anyone, just that he seems to have more experience with the game atm). If anyone else wants to try playing together (normals, til we agree it'd be a good idea to duo ranked together) add me on LoL.

I'm messing around, trying a bunch of chars atm so try not to pay too much attention to my recent match history xD
