I was pretty much left unharassed during jungling (had expected some counter-jungling activity against me), which allowed me to steal their buffs multiple times (though there few times where the enemy took their own blue buff, which I saw in clear sight with the help of a ward I placed there. That kind of ticked me off; that would have been a perfect buff-jacking opportunity had I been nearby).
Otherwise, we pretty much dominated them during teamfights. I played a supporting role - mostly - and I ganked a few times during the laning phase. My teammates stabilized their lanes late early game, which allowed me to pretty much roam the jungle longer.
And ironically, while the other team was bulked up with AP champs, I looked at my post-game stats and found that I took more physical damage (unexpected) than magic damage (previously expected due to team composition). Though that didn't make much of a difference. :f6:

This isn't things that shen should have, these are basics of playing the game at higher levels.
I dunno. There's "oh I see that guy over there on the minimap", and then there's "oh my ally might die." It's a step up from basic map awareness is what I'm saying.

+1 for trundle, love playing him. Im working on a rune page centered around him,(atk speed, armor, cdr, arpen) and he really seems to benefit from it more than many other champions.(having a specific rune page i mean)

I would get Trundle, he is actually really fun to play

Well, idk about you guys, but if i play shen or not i still pay attention to if my allies are in trouble, even if they're on the other side of the map, just check if they're losing hp and if they have enemies near them.
That's something i've grown as a reflex since DotA

Yeah me too, sometimes too much actually, to the point where I've died cause I'm watching the allies... hasn't happened for a while though.

It boils down to keeping an eye on your teammates to ult, Vorpal Blading effectively (harassing and healing yourself/allies, which really isn't difficult), when to turn around to Vorpal Blade + Ki Strike + Feint a towerdiving retard, building defenses according to the enemy team, and taunting to take the DPS off your team or to break channels.
WHEN TO LET YOUR ALLIES WHO DON'T HAVE VORPAL BLADE LAST-HIT
Also, most lonely I've ever been: for the first time in months, I have no friends online

Oh yeah forgot to mention, I played a game with Kaj the other day, I played horrible, besides doing lots of stupid things, and last hitting worse than a dead cow, I got harrased out of my ass by gragas, I guess it's because most players on the opposite team had over 3 times my games played... and because I laned with Kaj as cho so I couldn't last hit... it was hard for me at least and we lost, somehow we had our towers stomped with very few deaths.

Hm....anyone know about how to jungle with a Cho'Gath? I was looking around yesterday and found out that Cho can actually jungle pretty well. :f6:
I have not seen one in action though. Probably a rarity.
- Madreds Razors (for the 500 damage proc on minions; convert it to a Bloodrazor later on)
- Wriggles Lantern (I can perhaps use it for the 500 damage proc, and maybe gain some lifesteal while attacking?)
- Mercury Treads
Whatever tanking items I need depending on situation (possible choices):
- Frozen Heart
- Thornmail
- Atma's Impaler (thinking about abusing his high HP so I can convert that into ATT due to Atma's passive + able to hit crits)
- Banshee Veil
- FoN
- Randuins Omen
But cho has to wait for 6 to get a buff
I think.

That would be the skill Feast. Despite the fact I wont have a minion-nuking skill from levels 1-5, I was still wondering if jungling Cho is still feasible.
Well, I could just rush Madreds Razor and just use that until I have Feast. :f6:

Okay see, it's one thing to see that your allies and enemies are across the map. I can do my business reasonably well while I stare at the minimap simultaneously. Or actually run over and help them if you think you can get there in time before the action stops.
It's another thing to actually watch your allies to see if they need intervention via a global skill. Of course, you could mitigate the disruption by mastering the center-on-ally hotkeys, but that would cause serious issues for how I play. And I don't know about you EU folks, but here in NA, the HP for champions doesn't really update until you look at them. The only reason why I look at the portraits on the left side HUD is for death timers and ults.

The game was presumably designed to have reasonably low latency, or green ping. This is below 100 ms iirc.
Since you don't quite meet that, champions like Gragas who have skillshots will pretty much ruin your day if his ping is better than yours.
EDIT: Apparently, when Brand successfully eggs Anivia, the server stops telling you anything and everything kinda looks frozen, like a disconnect. Everything goes back to normal less than a second before Anivia is reborn, and chances are, if you were in a team fight, your carry raped everybody. I did have this happen to me, but at the time I didn't recognize it and just passed it off as a coincidence. *sigh* At this rate, I'll never get back into ranked play.

Idk, i do both of those just fine. As i said, it's just reflex to me, i use the minimap a lot and multi-tasking and checking on allies etc is something i do all the time

There's a huge list of videos on jungling Cho'Gath. Of course, you probably need runes.

IT'S AN EARLY GAME THING OKAY ;_;
Starting to get better with no-look Shen ults. Purp can attest to me saving him from a wild enemy Nocturne once because I ulted on instinct.
[IMGSPOILER]http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x112/Rayquaza2233/Myteamwasafraidoftheirownshadow.jpg[/IMGSPOILER]
I was the tank, the initiator, and the primary source of DPS. Most of their team died within ten seconds of me seeing them in the lategame. Would've had more kills and assists and less deaths if my team wasn't afraid of their own shadow, only Yi actively assisted me in taking the other team down. Most of our Eve's non-death stats came from drive-by Hate Spikes after I melted them with Thornmail, Sunfire Cape, Vorpal Blade, Ki Strike, and autoattack.
And so begins the hoarding of IP for health quints...

I would at least get Wriggles, lol. The 500 damage proc does freaking help a lot in the levels before you have Feast. The lifesteal helps a bit in conjunction with Cho's passive.
Anyways, just played Jungle Cho. Teammates were being totally as'sholes and didn't believe that Cho could jungle. I didn't even get jungle support at the beginning (a la anti-gank protection and taking a few potshots at blue so I could get a head start at whacking away at blue) We lost.

I played jungle fid and it was fun, since I don't need smite, people don't know I jungle, I started at blue buff which is easy with drain and 1 potion, then killed all my side of the jungle with it (wolves->wraiths -> golems-> lizard) then wolves again I think and then covered mid a little cause our brand died, after that I jungled one last level to 6, I had a mejai's and basic boots, checked enemy lizard to find WW there, I ult and get the kill.. and the buff
We won, I think I still have some of the Fid I used to play on me, but I'm not very good with it though, I also played an Annie game earlier and I definately can still play her, kicked ass carried the team :B

So after thinking about this + looking at my jungling Cho game footage...
I will definitely need Madreds Razor so I can clear camps more quickly with auto-attacks. But which item is better for jungle Cho if I continue to build it further? Wriggles or Madreds Bloodrazor?
