The .Patch file extracted does not mean it is for sure the final .patch file. Things can change.

Not only that, but I believe the patch notes said they were adding "pirate rewards." For all we know, that could mean simply higher level weapons/armor and bullets/capsules

Margana -
Zombify
Bishops for this boss should stick to buff duty, doing some DPS in between. Ginger Ales will be a must for Zombify. Power Elixirs can be hard to constantly supply.

500,000 HP recovery (not sure?)
Won't be a problem because Night Lords and Archers will mow through that like a hot knife on butter.

Summon Dark Menhir
999 attack falls short of 8k. Any melee below level 100 without Hyperbody is not likely to tank the hits.

Poison Cloud
Should be minimal concern, as with all other poison clouds

Red Nirg -
Summon 10 Windraiders
Mass mobbing needed, or a warrior with Rush

Summon 10 Stormbreakers
Mass mobbing needed, or a warrior with Rush

Summon 10 Nightshadows
Mass mobbing needed, or a warrior with Rush

Summon 10 Firebrands
Mass mobbing needed, or a warrior with Rush

Summon 5 Crimson Guardians
Mass mobbing needed, or a warrior with Rush

Attack Up +200 (AoE buff, affects nearby monsters)
800 attack = ~5.2k (Pap 2nd form), so 830 attack = ~5.5k+. Safe threshold would be 6k HP then, or 7k if you're really paranoid

Can stun
As long as Red Nirg doesn't come running after the ranged it's ok

Super KB
As long as Red Nirg doesn't come running after the ranged it's ok

When defeated, Revives into Scarlet Phoenix AND Azure Ocelot

Rellik -
1/1 and Poison (simultaneously)
Chug an elixir after this. Trying to cleanse the poison 1st is suicidal

Super KB
Not too worried since Rellik is not as strong as the warrior.

Stun
Not too worried since Rellik is not as strong as the warrior.

Seal
All-cures will be bought for this reason only

Summon black bird
Should be killable fast

Hsalf -
Haste (Speed +50)
Seems least dangerous since possesses fewest surprises. But the Haste may prove problematic. How? I don't know yet.

ouch.

Responses in bold.

So far I rank the most dangerous of them as:

1. Mage - Zombify will get many newb parties killed, and 8k pillar is srs business.
2. Warrior - 6k touch can get ranged killed if they are not HP washed
3. Archer - 1/1 + poison combo is the only thing to be worried about. Easily remedied with a combo elixir + All-Cure/Antidote
4. Thief - Biggest beef is the supposedly high weapon defense, as well as high avoid to screw over warriors and poorly geared Brawlers.

Oh wait.... lewl. Exact order as Isaac listed them. Goggleemoticon

Zombify is no threat at all if you know what you're up against. All it does it make the fight more expensive. Obviously, bishops won't be healing as long as Margana is alive. Red nirg's touch really isn't a problem either because it moves so slowly, and archmages' slow counters Hsalf's speed up. 1/1 + poison is easily the most deadly out of any attack (unless Margana has damage reflect). If you've ever been poisoned by a zombie or anything else that deals damage + poison before, you'll notice that the first poison damage pops up literally like a millisecond after the damage from the actual attack pops up, which means it's an instant kill for anyone who doesn't have achilles/meso guard/holy shield/whatever.

PeePeeAyeDeeKay Wrote:almost everyone*

I see Achilles coming into play for 4th job warriors when poison and "nuke"(1/1) is used at the same time.

Being "nuked" with Achilles leaves your char with some HP, now unless the poison does like a couple thousand damage per "bleed", it should be fine...otherwise >.>

Highly doubt it's a 5000% damage reflect. A warrior with 30k HP cant even take a hit from that assuming that warrior does 6+ damage... (yes thats a six, not six thousand)

On the other hand 500k HP recovered might be a bit much?

5000% damage reflect is possible... I seriously doubt that Nexon really understands how the skill works anyways.

Those are map objects, not monsters.

It could be just a "don't attack the boss you retards" kind of buff, and intentionally make you die. Cause Prose said "NO MERCY" and all, I'm expecting ridiculous pomegranate to be pulled to prevent people from killing these.

id laugh if they change the patch file and add more stuff into it D:

on a side note, can anyone tell me what the changes to the Crimson Arclancer was? I havent seen anything about it yet.

Oh gawd, really? I thought the poison took a second, or maybe it's been so long since I remember being poisoned that I forgot about how fast it comes up. Eek

Changes to order then:
1. Archer - 1/1 + poison combo is the only thing to be worried about, but can be fatal if the poison comes up immediately after the 1/1. Holy Shield is a must here, as well as anything that can reduce the 1/1 effect. I'm looking at you, Warriors, Bandits, and Priests.
2. Mage - Zombify will get many newb parties killed, and 8k pillar is srs business.
3. Warrior - 6k touch can get ranged killed if they are not HP washed
4. Thief - Biggest beef is the supposedly high weapon defense, as well as high avoid to screw over warriors and poorly geared Brawlers.

Can't a Bishop just dispel away Red's ridiculous attack up buff to bring the damage back down to 3k?

Where does it say the new pendant is the PQ reward?

And why does it have to be a pendant?
Why couldn't they put those stats on a cape, or glove, or shoe, or ring (I'll have 4, thank you), or face accessory (goggles, natch)?
Why force people to choose between this and HT necklace?

Oh wow, I just remembered the chain effect of I/Ls' chain lightning... if it accidentally chains to Margana with the reflect skill up, the I/L is dead. Have fun with cold beam, comp, or thunderspear? O_o

Precisely what most of us were probably thinking. It makes far more sense in our minds to make new equips that are hard to come by, readily available, but Nexon does not think like us, and us like wise. They will do what they think is necessary for their game.Goggleemoticon

More and more reason for me to become very irritated with these bosses.. Oh well this should be a nice challenge assuming I can tag along with a group.
