Recently read a manga called Girl Friends.

This manga will make you feel really girly reading it. If you're already a girl, you'll feel extra girly if you're not normally girly. I don't normally read Girls Love, but I saw this over on Uboachan somewhere and decided to give it a try since I was curious. At first I thought it was cute, but before I realized it I ended up marathining the whole series. Really, it got me by surprise. It's just generic romance though, for the most part, it's just something about the lovable characters that make it really enjoyable to read.

As you can guess from the title, it's about girls. Girls who are friends. Girls who are friends and develop feelings past friendship. It's only 5 volumes long, so not too much of a read, really. Still surprising how I got sucked into it though, a series like this would have normally been one that I pick at slowly once a week or something, but I really couldn't help it.

*Looks at picture*

Okay, art looks good. I'll give it a shot if I can find it online.

*Goes off to sniff out the manga*

I gave a link to it right in the quoted post. That link is straight from the scanslator's page, it has high quality viewing online if you don't like downloading.

I finished it. It's only 5 volumes, so I finished it with pretty much a marathon.

The World God Only Knows 121 - Keima the.... DEMON!?!?!?!?!? This is just so damn unexpected. Keima seems 100x even more reliable than his usual 100% reliable self.

Seconding this recommendation.

I have to admit, it really made it seem like doing things like painting nails could actually be fun. I'm not to saying that it made me feel pretty FABULOUS, but rather- I liked and found a connection to the characters, and because of them, I had sort of felt like I was in on what they were doing, and watching them do girly things seemed actually fun and also made me feel kinda girly.

Anyways, it's a cute, satisfying shoujo about misunderstandings. You're right, it IS typical; and as you say, the characters really make the read worth it. Give it a shot.

I posted this on the MF forums but I might as well post it here too
Quote:Just a speculation, but Nora has on the same head piece that the little girl has that stabbed Khanon. Her name is Fiore btw

Nora

Fiore
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/the_wo...2/c116/17.html

Also, Haqua mentions that someone in the runaway spirit squad might be a traitor. (bottom left box)
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/the_wo...3/c117/11.html

Then Nora here says "We horned demons are all from old distinguished family so we hear various secrets"
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/the_wo...8/c074/13.html

So... I'm going to guess that Nora is part of Vintage and so is anyone else with that horn head piece. Another thing I found was Nora saying "New hell is concerned about conserving energy, it's always dark, everyone's a coward. There's nothing interesting to do either". This means she isn't satisfied with how New Hell is going about its business.

I haven't felt anything that mushy since I was questioning my sexual orientation upon entering puberty. Had no idea what I was walking into and listening to the romance of the "ef a tale of" soundtrack while reading it did not help my testosterone levels. Regardless, it was an enjoyable read. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to bathe myself in Mnemosyne and Higurashi for a few hours.

Unexpected twist, similar to what Spidey stated. Never thought the parents would play a major role, and if they did, I would have never assumed it to end up like this.

Also just drove to Borders to pick up Volume 1 of Koko ni Iru Yo! / I am here! , it's 405 pages. Also was like 18 USD with PA state tax. F`UCKING. WORTH. IT.
