Episode 1:
Northern Equestria's Crystal Empire has once again made an appearance after being afflicted with a curse that made it vanish for 1,000 years, and Princess Celestia commissions Twilight Sparkle to keep the empire from disappearing again.

After Princess Celestia commissions her to keep the Crystal Empire from vanishing again, Twilight Sparkle realizes that she must find the missing Crystal Heart in order to restore the empire's strength and reputation before it can disappear again.

To be honest, there are three current lores to this theory, and I'm gonna choose this one.

The lore is that after Luna was sent into the moon, most antagonists went into hiding, fearing Celestia's power of banishment and total control of the Elements of Harmony, and with total control of the throne. This also speculated there was a sort of alliance between the Crystal Kingdom and Equestian Kingdom, and there was corruption whiten the alliance, and Sombra, believing he was next, placed a curse on the empire, causing them to disappear, because come on, like his appearance doesn't look corrupted.

...also for starters, they've been gone for 1002 years.

Fearing that there was a true successor to the throne (He pulled from Hercules bs.), and Sombra at the time was about to claim the throne, didn't want this to happen, so if he can't have the empire, NO ONE CAN. In spite of this, someone told the royal family about this mess, and they narrowly escaped the disappearing empire. They pleaded to Celestia to live a life in hiding afterwards here in Canterlot. Seriously, did we knew Cadence was a Crystal pony before?

1,000 years ago Celestia and Luna were at the peak of their power. Shi't went down and both fought together to stop the evil, leaving Luna the manic mess that caused her to go Nightmare Moon mode, and Celestia exhaust most of her power sealing her away and dealing with everything else. No I haven't read the synopsis for Crystal Kingdom. I want to keep it a surprise.

Yea, either way I've seen almost everything, but I'm eager to see what it will look like/play out. That's surprising to me.

 THE MOST EPIC SPOILER EVER:The First 8mins of Season 3, Episode 1-TEXT REVIEW

Minute 1: A guard comes bolting into Celestia's throne room, warning Celestia of the Crystal Empire's return. Abiding by the warning, Celestia begins to write a letter to Twilight, telling her that this is "A Test".

Thing to mention:The Guard took off his helmet...HO-LY CRAP. My face went crazy when he did. Compare my OC's hair to his, IT'S TOTAL CANNY.
I HAVE MADE IT CANNON BYTACHES. (10 Bits, PAY UP.)

Minute 3:After the opening, Twilight, who's in her library, furiously packing things with Spike and along with that, her friends just stand there. Applejack says one sentence, and she goes nuts. (In spite of that, she blows up her house sky high.)

Minute 3:30~4:40ish: Luna is cannon. She's talking to Celestia of how she wants to help out the cause, but Celestia reassures her trust. Enter Twilight, and then stuff about the Crystal Empires ensures.

-The Crystal Empire Is MISSING LOVE AND TRUST. I'M JUST SAYING. THAT'S THE THING THEY ARE MISSING. THEY RUN ON TRUST AND LOVE.

-Sombra was defeated by LUNA AND CELESTIA, which goes to show my theory and all other lores are wrong. He was sent into a frozen abyss whiten the Arctic north.

-Twilight, unsure if she can do this with her friends, she feels she won't pass what Celestia calls a "Ultimate Test".
