My point being he's a solid pick for the tank role, off-tank or not.

inb4nasus (he's obviously a bad choice for tank)

Solid pick, yes. I'd rather have someone with a non-ult taunt as my tank, personally.
Shame they're always banned.
So what do you think of the new champ?

Brand Skill Wrote:Abilities:

Sear: Brand launches a ball of fire forward that deals magic damage. If the target is ablaze, the target will be stunned.

Pillar of Flame: After a short delay, Brand creates a pillar of flame at a target area, dealing magic damage to enemy units with the area. Units that are ablaze take additional damage.

Conflagration: Brand conjures a powerful blast at his target, dealing magic damage to them. If the target is ablaze, the conflagration spreads to nearby enemies.

Pyroclasm (Ultimate): Brand unleashes a devastating torrent of fire, dealing damage each time it bounces. If a target is ablaze, Pyroclasm's missile speed increases.

Blaze (Passive): Brand's basic abilities light his targets ablaze, dealing a percentage of their maximum Health in magic damage per second.

The innate sorta resembles the one from Lux, but instead its applied using AutoAttacks and give extra effects to each skill.
I would still consider Cho'Gath a full tank either way. If he's played a full caster, stacks up lots of HP (due to Feast), and is not sufficently armored enough, lots of things are going to happen. Example: Madreds Bloodrazor.

Tank him up, and watch the wonders. My playstyle with tanky Cho'Gath: Mash Q and W once you're at striking distance; if the enemy is successfully sent airborne, slowed and silenced, then go up to them like a boss and harass the hell out of them. If they're at a low enough health, that enemy becomes your meal of the day. A bloody one too.
Just rush or make sure your build has zhonyas hourglass and abbysal scepter in it and you can build anything afterwards with cho.
>Pineapple' Wrote:Just rush make sure your build has zhonyas hourglass and abbysal scepter in it and you can build anything afterwards with cho.

Usually I tank him up first. If I have everything I need in my armor arsenal, and have nothing else to get, I might throw those in there to give his skills a good jump start.

(or if I want to exploit his high HP for more auto-attack damage and give him some armor, I could use Atma's Impaler...)
It's incredibly fun if you're laning with Xin and he first knocks an unfortunate opponent up, and then you Q at the same spot, so he gets knocked up twice, and then you silence =). All the time Xin is auto attacking and then the enemy should be dead, and that guy has like no chance to even attack you guys (although the partner might).

Oh god, this remind me of that match i had with Jax-Sion-Nunu. WORST CC CHAIN EVER!
KajitiSouls Wrote:ITT: Corn learns how much chain CCs rule/suck!

Last time I did it we laned against a Teemo and an Ashe. We thought we were screwed =D.

I loled. Excellent

But its great to know it now than later. Tongue
 Legendary!
A good way to wash down the 4-5 K-D 20 minute surrender before it.

And another in a long list of "I should've just listened to you guys in the first place": Sheen is pineappleing awesome mid-game with small skirmishes and squishies.
No SS, but just got out of a game (did jungle Amumu for this one)

To make this short: I might have to put jungling Amumu/Rammus off until I can get a lot of practice done in Co-Op vs AI. I was slightly underleveled, and I'm in dire need to refine my jungling techniques. Oh, and I need to set up the ganks correctly. >_>

Otherwise, this match was nearly an hour long. There was an enemy jungling Amumu for this match, and I didn't know how effective it was. It didn't take me long to find out. Early game, I walk out of my jungle into the river on my way to find more jungle creeps and I spot him. I give chase, threw my bandage, stunned him and killed him in 10-15 seconds. If my situation was pretty bad, he was worse; he probably didn't know what to do. And he got counter-jungled by me. He was ineffective for the entire game, as I freely stole their blue buff whenever I could. He was underleveled for the entire game, and didn't build the right things. (had mostly armor, barely any MR, which gave me an easier time to kill him, as well as my friend who was using AP Teemo).

Late game, they went for Baron, and I simply decided to just go in on a suicide mission to buy some time (and hopefully steal Baron with Smite). While I did not steal Baron, me going in and ulting did buy some time for my guys to come in and pick them off, albeit with heavy losses (I got killed, which was expected. 2 of my teammates also got killed). But we managed to ace the enemy team, ensuring that they would not live to kill another day.

We won after we took out their Nexus turrets.
Even though his looks do not appeal, im kind of interested in Brand because hes a Caster, and a tank counter too.

Also i tried out Shen last night for the second time ever, i think my score was like 7/5/43 lol. One time i went to Ult my friends in bottom and Cho Gath Bot knocked me up mid channeling :<

Plus he looks like a possibly better version of Annie lol
From what I read, his Q is an auto-stun assuming you auto-attack the enemy beforehand, which isn't even that hard.

Unless they neglected to edit the OP, I think you mean hit the enemy with an ability. His auto-attacks don't seem to be special.

lmao @ pants buddies and Ryu comments
So i heard season one is finally ending: Season one Championship Announced

err hourglass is dumb on him. Only people I say it's fine to build it on are champs like Kennen and Morg, where the active compliments their play style.

Ah, yeah, I didn't know they edited it. When I read it when they first released the topic, it said "Basic attacks", but it's "Basic abilities" now. Or maybe it was always that way and I'm losing my mind x_x
