That's the Chaos Rift, which is a dungeon that lets you obtain special fragments that you can use, combined with specific epic accessories, to create epic accessories that provide skill levels for certain skills. Like, +1 Cyclone Slash or something.

Are any of them worth using over a normal epic earring of the same level, though? If they are, I will look into it more, but it sounds like it would only be useful for certain passives or ultimates. Well, useful is a bad way to put it; MORE useful, I guess. If it were that or an empty slot, it's obvious which a person should pick, lol.

Well, crafting them into skill increasing accessories has a chance of making them far more powerful as far as base stats go as well, however there is a chance you'll turn it into total crap, like crit resist or something. You can check them out in the accessory tab of the crafting system. (Blacksmith > craft > accessory)

There's also a 30% chance of success I think.

You'd really only craft this when you start running out of things to upgrade for less money.

Lol I got my pomegranate wrecked at Apoc.

Died 4 times even with a priest there.

Ahahahaha yeah. Even having a Priest won't help you that much if you fail to dodge Apoc's attacks. Basically just turns 2HKOs into 3-4HKOs + some healing. If you have a Priest in the party, you're also sacrificing DPS for survivability, even moreso at Apoc since he has ridiculous light resist.

If the Priest's buffs run out, get rebuffed immediately. Hell, try to get rebuffed before the buffs run out. 15-20% light damage reduction + 15-20% magic damage reduction is a huge deal at Apoc. If the Priest uses Grand Sigil (the relic ultimate), get to it, because that relic can grant a further 70% damage reduction for 10 seconds (technically 22 seconds if you remain in the relic's range the entire time) and it will most likely wreck any tentacles that are chasing you. Don't make the Priest chase you down either, because we're the least mobile class in the game.

Do you guys think it'd be worth it as a Sorc to not use wise accessories and opt for vital?

IE: Dropping roughly 140 int for same amount of vit.

For harder bosses, survivability is a lot better than more damage.

He was knocked outside of the map.

It happens on rare occasions, and it's why there is an ''unstuck'' option when you hit ESC. Most maps are actually gigantic, but only a small amount is actually played on, normally. I've seen maps that actually had trees and such in these outside areas.

awww lame.. you have to wait 7 days before you can delete a character. It's in limbo for a while =(. I wanted to make an acro on my main account, but I guess I'll have to wait a week.

I got to lvl 10 on my ele =P. I'm going to try acro for a bit and see if that's better.

Well it's been fun guys. New Years resolution for me is to stop playing DN. MMOs are far too time consuming for me and my competitive gaming nature screws me for that. Good luck guys :V.

Seems like Belin doesn't want me to get +8 armor. They all keep on blowing up at +7. >_>

There's not much else you can gear my ele other than get better matk brilliant rings with the same hiddens, better necklace & earrings, epic crests, better staff, and the new nest sets. All of which will cost you several thousand for one upgrade. :V
