Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread
Just realized I didn't have LoL Recorder on for the lulzworthy match I had with Cho'Gath. Damn it. Lol.
>Pineapple' Wrote:Lux> cait by far.

Never met a Lux that could beat me. She's even squishier than Cait.
ElectricSix Wrote:Anyway, here's a quick question, for anyone that wants to answer, do you think I should start changing my masteries for other champs?

Yes. My rhythm was completely off when I had 14% CDR on Shen as I use cooldowns to gauge how often I use Vorpal Blade.

Tanks usually go 0/21/9 (three in good hands, one in improved Ghost, four in the EXP increasing one, and one in utility mastery in the utility tree, defense tree varies from tank to tank), physical DPSers usually go 21/0/9, and casters usually go 9/0/21.
Just played a cassiopeia match, you know how I know she's fun? cause we had an afking rammus for the first 10 minutes, but he was horrible and had better stayed afk, a rage quitting udyr who re-joined later around 30 mins, and a first time warwick who just sucked. I also played bad, like a first time, came out 4/9/4 or something, and we were stomped hard ( our rammus was like 2/15/1, warwick at 1/12/3 and udyr was lvl 9 when everyone was 16, he was a good player though, once he rejoined he got some kills and towers).

Even with all that, I still enjoyed the match, her playstyle is fun, and people feared me cause I went berserk and hit them hard then died, if I had had an iniciator to jump in while I kill from behind, or at least a team to back me up (only good players on my team were morgana and Rage quit udyr), I would've kicked ass, I'll play her again soon Tongue next match I'm playing a shen.

Yeah, I know the masteries are supposed to change depending on the type Ray, I just haven't found it all that worthwhile to switch out masteries. Early game I really do like the extra survivability, but as it doesn't vastly improve things late game, I've been considering swapping things around a bit. The only downside is how little time there is to change them if people can't make up their minds about who is going to take what role. I wish they had mastery pages like they do rune pages as it would make the whole thing a lot easier. I dunno, for the way I play, I think that early survivability has helped me escape numerous ganks/1v1s so in that sense, I'm not sure it'd be worth it to switch over to 21/0/9 or 9/0/21 depending on the type.

Quick Mastery Swap

I tried installing it but I got an error *shrugs.* Personally, I think I can switch masteries in 20 seconds.

I'll take a lux on my team any day over a cait.

Lux has a role and does it well.
While I was looking at my runes....I was kind of wondering if I should give one more shot at jungling with tanks. Notably Rammus (even though he got stabbed in the foot hard, if you know what I mean) and Amumu.
>Pineapple' Wrote:Lux> cait by far.

I dunno about that. Lane phase, they're about even I'd say.

Late game... I'd take Lux.

My LoL Recorder is always on <3 You must have rebooted or something at some point.

7 seconds here bro.

Yeah. Otherwise I would provide the lulzworthy footage to you. Frown

On a positive note: I'm officially done with my tank rune page (and coincidentally, my Karthus rune page)! Got all the runes I need to fill in the remaining rune slots every time I level. Biggrin

Question: What's the break-even point for Glyph CDR/level runes?
13, I think. I did this comparison once.

I never said which one I would take on a given day. Just which one can mid better Rolleyes.

I'd generally take a Lux too if there's too many AD carries with no CC.

Neither of them are really an ideal choice for mid, but yeah I get what you're saying.
It's a rare and unusual day for me to be in mid with Lux. I think Lux v. Cait in lane all comes down to whoever moves more erratically and makes themselves harder to hit.

Except Cait has a superior auto-attack range over Lux, and her passive deals bonus damage on auto-attacks.

Not saying that Cait will clearly win, since there are patterns in ability usage during laning, and Cait will probably OOM faster than Lux.

My computer is still being garbage so I can't play..... I really need to get a new one or something...
We were in the lead, but they pushed back and we lost :\

We were doing very well in the beginning, pretty much killing enemies whenever we could. We got Baron 1-2 times, but unfortunately the other team comes after us during our second attempt and all but one gets wiped out (we got the buff though).

Late game, they start pushing and we were getting hit very hard. I was getting focused on a lot, so I start losing my Feast stacks rapidly. Though one memorable moment was when the other team went to get Baron near the end of the game, I simply decided to go on a suicide mission and try to jack Baron from the other team. Popped Feast when Baron was <1000 HP, and successfully jacked the kill. However, that effort was pretty much in vain as the other team proceeded to wipe us out afterwards, buff-less.

Footage of the match. (You'll need LoL Recorder to open and play the file)

I'm starting to get better on Cho'Gath right now. He's pretty nice as a tank, especially when he's fully stacked with Feast.
Caitlyn will win over a Lux if they're both middle. Having main Lux for a while now, she has huge weaknesses which makes her very easy to counter solo. All Caitlyn really has to do is just autoattack and Lux will die imo.

I really like Caitlyn and Cassiopeia but I hate how much effort it takes to play them when you can choose someone easier and do the same job. It's probably why they aren't really seen in games.
>Pineapple' Wrote:Lux> cait by far.

Miguel you obviously haven't played in a LONG time. Cait will destroy lux go back to your MVC3 troll. Everyone is underestimating Cait.. She has really stepped up her game.. While she may not hit as hard as most ad carries she really has changed for the better. A Cait should be owning a lux both early and late game no if ands or buts. Cait doesn't need to use mana to beat lux so mana is not an issue especially since lux needs to burn mana just to get cs if cait does her job.
GreyorGray Wrote:Miguel you obviously haven't played in a LONG time. Cait will destroy lux go back to your MVC3 troll.

I don't care which one will win a 1v1 in mid when neither of them should be there to begin with.

Unless there were some buffs I missed to cait, Lux> Cait on almost any team, and i'll always take the former.
