Judging by her damage she would've been in there for an hour, at least.

I don't think a 12x Night Load that's wearing any serious type of gear (ie : not a level 10 claw) could even take an hour to kill Pianus if they wanted to.

30m HP is absolutely nothing post BB. And Night Loads are still pretty high on the DPS charts. I bet the person you ksed could've solo'd it completely in 15 minutes if not for your addiction to massive pianus.

Took right at 5:01. I'm very pleased with that time. In the few months I've been back since BB I've increased my DPS by nearly 50% with relatively little cost. Still a lot of room for upgrades too.

I don't even think a lot of people know that quest exists, so I agree that it isn't a very valid excuse.

Free roaming bosses are free roaming for a reason.

Hmm. At level 113 on my Mech, with only somewhat decent equips, I killed a Kacchuu Musha in 30 minutes. That has ~twice as much HP as a Pianus. Considering the level difference, the NL with pretty much clean equips would have been not far off in the damage range. I doubt it would have taken them more than 30 minutes max to kill the whole Pianus, if not less.

I've never liked when people KS. If I see someone who is higher than 10 levels below the boss, and they got there before me, I walk away. The argument that "free roaming bosses" are free for a reason is almost as valid as saying "It's a free game, so I can do whatever I want." It might make you feel better, but I'm not fooled.

Well, today was full of idiots.
First someone tried KSing my Anego before giving up and CCing.

Then a PoS NL decides to be a d'ick and attempts to KS my&myguildie's 2nd pap, didn't bother screening the KS'd one(we got majority exp anyway, so eh).

And now I find a Pianus, a mech and his two friends decide to try KSing me near the end, only stealing ~165k/1.3m exp of it.

I managed to get those who were waiting outside the door to take turns with each other going inside the Clocktower. In the end, it worked out well. We all got our Pap runs done without any serious harassment.
