I don't really deal with the relationship between charities and the individuals, but taking donations on behalf of a charity and stealing it IS major fraud. It's essentially false advertising while soliciting money. Unfortunately unless they made over like, a grand, at least, it most likely will be a slap on the wrist, if that.

The best part is Quinn declaring 100% of the money donated to Depression Quest today will go to charity, and she still hasn't signed a contract. I know the Gamergate movement isn't about her, but this level of epic fail and the incompetency of the journalists trying to defend her is comedy gold.

The police in Anita's area have actually been trying to get ahold of her and she hangs up on them, too. These three are all going to jail and it's going to be glorious.

Apparently, the team did not, as an entity, make the donation to iFred. Rather, "an individual" made a donation to them. Seeing as the donation link on depressionquest.com leads directly to Zoe Quinn's personal PayPal account, I have to ask two things:

1.) why were the donations not made to a group account for all of the developers who worked on Depression Quest?
2.) how did Zoe Quinn differentiate the donations from other payments to her (say for Rebel Jam, which also links back to her personal PayPal account)?

New happenings happening:

1) @Revuemage [Steve Tom Sawyer] and @oliverbcampbell [Oliver Campbell] speak up in favor of Gamergate. Both have detailed experiences of being shunned and ignored for their ideas.
2) #Gamergate has gotten the attention of Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks after a user shadowbanned previously for upvoting a GG-related post sees this in action when he conducts an AMA on Reddit [Source: https://twitter.com/wikileaks/status/511...931282944]
3) Cracked.com links spammed on GG threads in 4chan after this happens, links are reported and a mod starts deleting all GG related threads
