It's in WvWvW.

If you're in WvW or PvP you're automatically level 80.

This shark is special because he's part of the upgrade for the keep.

I've seen certain NPCs revive other ones, but not sure if they'd res an actual person. It's hard to tell when the NPCs die way before people do.

The tutorial NPC revives you, doesn't he?

Tutorials don't countttttttttt.

Maybe NPCs can come BWE3. I didn't play, so I didn't get to see if anything changed. D:

Also, apparently thieves, necros and mesmers need the most help.

Ha, not sure if I somehow had my finger on the pulse of the design balance from playing just 5 levels as each class, or if the problems were really that glaringly obvious to everyone.

Sword thief skills need to change, but other than that I like the way pistol, dagger, and shortbow are. The damage just needs to go up by a lot.

Hard to see if you can get viable builds if you only reached lvl 5, unless you sPvP'd a lot.

I hope they don't increase their raw damage. Maybe more ways to apply certain conditions to do more damage would be fine. It'd be nice to see more than just Venom builds.

Unlike previous stress tests, we will be actively working on the game during the event, so you might experience connectivity problems or discover features that are not working as designed. Any issues you experience are a result of the rigorous conditions of the stress test, and are in no way representative of the state of the game at launch. By participating in this stress test, you’re helping us make Guild Wars 2 a better game. Thanks for your cooperation—we’ll see you in-game! ~RB2

Quote:Greetings Heroes of Tyria,

We wanted to give you all an update on the Difficulty of BWE3, as it has been the topic of many conversations recently.

First of all, it is important to understand that the game is still in Beta and that we continue to balance on a daily basis. This said, and as usual, your feedback has proven invaluable. Following the weekend we drilled into our Event metrics, and discovered that the difficulty had indeed changed between BWE3 vs. BWE2. We moved ahead with a check on our core systems to find out if any global change/bug had incurred a generic adjustment to the balance of the game. Quickly we found this to be the case, and the issue has now been corrected.

We also wanted to take the time to mention, that we feel the overall pacing of the game is exactly where we want it. Specifically that we do not want the player to be in a constant state of overly challenging gameplay, and therefore the difficulty is now reflective of the balance found in BWE2, without a change in overall pacing.

Finally, we continue to balance both our creatures and our professions. Your feedback, once again has proven invaluable to us, and we ask that you continue to let us know what you think about the game, and keep posting your suggestions as we get ever closer to the release of Guild Wars 2.

See you in Tyria!

Don't worry man. I'll play plenty of GW2 for both of us.

Edit - btw, how do you set up traits/skills/unlock weapon swapping when you're auto leveled to 80 during PvP?

If you have character names from Guild Wars 1 you get I believe two weeks to take them for yourself. Unless they changed that. I remember it being mentioned back when the GW2 site first opened up.

You must create a Guild Wars 2 character with the same name as your Guild Wars character during the Headstart Access period or on launch day. Shortly after launch, we’ll free up all the unclaimed names for new Guild Wars 2 players to use.

Weapon swapping/skills are blocked/unblocked to, you know, give real level 80s an advantage over a level 1. To set up traits just open your character and click the trait tab. Not that hard to find O_o.
