Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread
Infection Wrote:I haven't read the entire thread, but what exactly is Dungeon Fighter? Is it something a la Lunia (storylined arcade-like stages) or more like Maple?

Somewhat like Maple.

All stages are instanced between you and your party. You must clear out one room before you go to the next room. In each room can be mini-bosses or regular mobs, but there's only one room with the major boss. Defeating the major boss completes the instance. Wash, rinse, and repeat.

It's also strongly encouraged to do all of the quests in the game. They're very worth it. You get bonuses to your Max MP/HP, Strength, intelligence, free skill points, and better equipment. Don't miss a single quest, because you might miss something good.

I would if I was close to your level. I'm 19 at the moment. (How close should people pvp'ing be?)
So... many... quests!
Only level 8 after an hour or so of insane questing, doing Murkwood over.. and over..
:x

EDIT: IGN is Funestus.

Within five levels is a decent range. It's a bit more iffy when the ranges get bigger. Anything where they have a wide gap in skills available is when you should worry, like 17 to 18, or 24 to 30. Those one or two skills change a lot, despite having similar stats on characters. I lost to a Striker because they had Mountain Mover or whatever and Bone Crusher and I don't yet. Came pretty close, but I was a few hits off in the end because I got plowed. Plus she had Boxing Gloves. Very Fast >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Fast

add me if you like o.o
Guess I'm gonna take a break from maple and try this soon.
I'm going to be editing some wiki articles over at http://wiki.dfosource.com. Currently I'm working on Mage skills. Feel free to help because it's greatly appreciated. If you do help, I would like it if you followed the Ancient Library template (I did this one. Big Grin).

I'm going to save everything on my computer, so anything that's vandalized isn't lost.
Think I'm gonna make a Launcher.

Unless I missed something, it uses MediaWiki, which allows you to revoke any change.

The lack of potion NPCs in this game is frustrating me!
I'm trying to clear the timed Thunderland quest, but I keep running out of potions. fml

Depends on your class, but the game isnt meant to be played with potion spamming really, invest in the backstep jump and its cancel, and throw it in after a few hits in a combo to back off safely. The trick to the game is not getting hit, its far different from MapleStory's "Solo anything as long as you have enough potions" method.
Is it okay to ask some questions in this thread? I got quiet a few questions.

Fire away.
Okay.

1) Is it possible to play in windowed mode? If so, where can i change it?

2) At what level can you advance to a Launcher?

3) The char stats are added automatically?

That's pretty much it.

1) type //window to window, //full to go back to normal.

2) 18 you pick your subclass, all skill points reset

3)stats are added based on a lot of things (quests, leveling, I guess thats it), but for the most part yeah, and if you stack gear based on your mastery (which will be under your passive skills) you'll get bonuses pertaining to what stats you need. Always follow your armor mastery.
Alright, thanks alot!
Rawr, I can't seem to unlock King's Road for Dragonoid Nest. I always finish Master Road with a B. Confused
Anyone know how the auction house or whatever works in other versions? Please tell me it doesn't require NX.
