Original Dragon Nest Thread

The one thing that I don't like about Irine is how there aren't any gifts in the Saint's Haven dungeons that I could give to her. She's going to be stuck with that 20% Aversion until I get around to farming Carderock dungeons for gifts again. (Tip: When she asks you what your favorite color is, do NOT pick red.)

i picked red because it is, same with lena.

and just give her one of the faire gifts, she can accept one no?

Apparently Argenta is actually 3x more powerful than Gerrant is due to having absorbed more of the "Sentinel Dragon's" powers than Gerrant. The reason she got beat up by Velskud was because her power is being stored somewhere else. Pretty interesting.

Argenta needs to be more tsundere~ \o/.

Oh god Level 35 is a real grindfest. What the heck is with the complete lack of quests for that level? There are three freaking dungeons for Level 34-35 and you mean to tell me that there are less quests for those three than the two Level 32-33 dungeons?

EDIT: And 10 minutes after typing that out, I find out that I have to advance further in the main quest to unlock several other quests.

lol I was gonna say.. I haven't run out of quests yet and I'm 40% into LvL35. I've done 1 hell cerb, 2 normal cerbs, and 4 gobersias. The rest have been pure quests. Pretty much all abyss, but I don't know how much more that is compared to master. The only dungeon I won't do on abyss anymore is friggin grave's unrest.....

So apparently there is a way to grind dryspring in like 3 minutes a run.
Found out when I had like 30 empowerment left...oh well. Hitting 33 was pretty easy. LF> 40.

Fortress of the Dark Overlord Army - Average 3 to 4 mins per run with 4 man camping strategy - 189k exp repeat Master board quest
Dark Overlord Training Camp - Average 4 to 5 mins per run - 221k exp repeat Master board quest
Dried Marissa Spring - Average 3 to 4 mins per run with speed-running strategy - 158k exp repeat Master board quest

Isn't the comission EXP like halved in our version? Dark Overlord Training Camp = Black Sovereign Assembly.

Argh, about 50% through Level 35 and I am completely out of side quests. The next main quest is sending me to a Level 36 place. Looks like I'm grinding Marissa's Dryspring. (Assembly takes me like 8-10 minutes to solo, because I'm a slowass Priest.)

Wow, I think the pig bishop guy is actually evil... these quests he's sending me on have me gathering a bunch of dark stuff. He's even saying something along the lines of "this would be bad if someone were to use this for ill will, but it will be a blessing for saint's haven!!". I also noticed he's not on our list of NPCs we can befriend.... EVIL EVIL EVIL!!!

Yeah, I found that a bit suspicious too. Not entirely sure if he's evil, though. I wonder what the hell is up with that Mystery Man too? All that stuff that Gerrant mentioned about the Tempest Dragon or something being split into several others that Gerrant and Argenta had to seal before fighting the Black Dragon... Makes me wonder, are we going to see others attempting to become dragons themselves, just like Velskud?

I wonder what's up with that Black Dragon plauge thing too. I would think that our character has been tainted, since we clearly see the blood spilling onto our character after Gerrant defeats Velskud at the end of chapter 4. But no one even brings up the possibility of something happening to our character, nor is our character showing any signs of being affected by it so far.

Oh how I wish quests actually intertwined in this game. Then we'd see some pretty interesting stuff regarding the storyline.

I think we get a little less because we have PWR and no FTG system.

I thought the fastest way was stronghold. Assembly is definitely not the fastest now with the halved exp. You can't do the bridge skip without spirit boost anyway so that's no good. Early grind spot would be Desolate Point since it's actually not that long with some skips and no loading screens.

Bishop giving you back gerrant's pendant after you had no idea you dropped it (or STOLEN d'ohoho). If that's not suspicious stuff, I don't know what is. There's no doubt he's planning something.

iirc if you could do Abyss Stronghold at around ~7 minutes than it was better than grinding Master SancNex with better drops, assuming you could clock like 2.5mins for Master SancNex.

Desolate point is still easy for me because I kill them fast I suppose. I never had any trouble with it lol. I died at Unrest Grave though. Stun + freeze lock. Imad.

both annoy me, invincible skeletons moving all over the place, i can't mob them right, and the other one has too many mobs so i can't sweep fast enough (hate them cannons)

crossroads is good, except for random rocks, but not bad at all really xD
