I thought Pierre's Red Hat assassination attack OHKO's, yet Limgoon lived through it.

Took them 10 minutes and they have Unlimited and the increased HP versions.

Limgoon wasted a lot of time just videoing them and keeping himself alive when he could've fired at the bosses so many times.

Oh right, forgot they increased HP again.

Oh, there are actually HP changes, minor ones, but still, here are the Live server values:

Pierre: 84b -> 80b
Von Bon: 105b -> 100b
Bloody Queen: 147b -> 140b

Vellum is not changed and remains at 200b

In the olden days (...okay, now, really) we would've scoffed at that. "300% DEF? Why should we be worried, I have 100% Ignore", but no, not anymore, when every little bit of Ignore DEF you can get counts and it's really, extremely unlikely that you'll ever really have enough, unless you miraculously get 100% Ignore DEF on one equip.

Or, it could've been a mistake, I mean, wow, 300% is quite the jump, right? I'd rather wait until we get Unlimited I'm doing 1s on Chaos Vellum because I have less than 66% total Ignore DEF to actually accept it as true, as deluded as that may be.

It's both comforting and frustrating that the best weapons in the game are guarded by such a heavily armored foe.

if i capped 50M with every hit of sacrifice, it would take 1000 attacks to bring him down.

Which boils down to 180% before other pdr sources. Quite a hearty chunk of gained damage.

So do Mercs. (Which, on an off topic point, confuses me that they didn't just have one set of mastery books for Defense Break and Typhoon Crush, or even Achilles and Obsidian Skin and High Defense, and all the other skills that are completely identical save for the name).

I completely forgot about Sac totally ignoring DEF, though, which I'm pretty sure wins this battle hands down.

I've never had two helmet drop at once before today, but I guess these bosses are Zakumish in their stingying to lop off their own head and present it twice to you. Still no chair though. 6% HP on one of then though, yay, Demon Avenger.

I have a Von Bon chair. I've seen only 2-3 others with it as well in Broa. Also saw Crimson Queen and Vellum chair both just once, but haven't seen a Pierre chair at all.

I have a Von Bon chair. I've seen only 2-3 others with it as well in Broa. Also saw Crimson Queen and Vellum chair both just once, but haven't seen a Pierre chair at all.

Im reading these and im starting to hate being a mage. About half of the attacks OHKO me that seem to be "Set damage" that just ignores Magic guard. Vellums pop up Kills me -_-.

Thought that and AirFrames are mainly used as tracking devices? :f6:
