I didn't have interest in it until I got to the Thieves Guild part of the game. I was using 2-H swords until then and it was just blowing through everything in seconds. It was too simple. Once I started sneaking around it just brought the game to a whole new level, and everything took much longer to complete, but that made it more fun to me. I crapped my pants when I crept up and killed a Giant before it even became aware of me. I haven't started the Dark Brotherhood questline yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Does it start when you get the ''We know'' letter?

I was thinking of eventually making a new character that's solely magic. I'm leaning on Argonian(SP?) They look cool to me. :f6: My ''thief'' is a Nord.

Yes.

Once you receive the "We know" letter with the handprint on it, go to Riverwood (not sure if you HAVE to go here, but that's what I did for both my characters), go to the inn and sleep. You'll be taken hostage by Astrid, the current leader of the Dark Brotherhood in Skyrim. You'll have to do a really mundane task for her first, then afterwards, she'll mark the location of the DB on your map.

My main character did all of the guild quests already, so I already know what to expect for my alts. I just don't want to do magic for my Breton character, even if they specialize in magic, I made her a Breton because of their smaller body frames (especially for females).

Yeah, I'm aware that certain races excel more in certain categories, but I just pick what I like best as far as looks, which is why I'm wanting an Argonian Mage. Tongue1

Honestly, that's probably a good idea just for aesthetics. Khajiit or Argonian is always a great choice for mages, and since it's Skyrim, that's even better since there's not too many of them around. Makes you feel more special, ya know? It's sorta like playing anything that wasn't Khajiit, Argonian, or Dunmer in Morrowind.

So I mad a Khajiti Mage and realized that sneak+magic=loads of fun. Plus that fireball technique is crazy. The whole house rumbles when I blast one of those off. Glitter

Also is it just me or does anybody else get that glitch with the Morokei mask that makes you look like floating clothes?

My god sneaking in Skyrim.

It's hilarious when you get the level 100 sneak skill someone will be following you, you crouch and then in plain eyesight they'l something along the lines of "Huh, where did they go?".

Skyrim>Life.

So I've been playing as a Nord archer/two-handed weapon user and I'm trying to get better at sneaking. My character is also kinda a horrible person. I've decided that he has an irrational hatred for bards. This may have been an excuse to murder Sven in Riverwood.

But anyway, I started the Dark Brotherhood questline (and I never got the letter, actually- I just went to sleep and got kidnapped), but as soon as I left the shack... it froze on the map and I had to shut off my computer. Now whenever I run the game, I can't move my cursor on the main menu. So I really hope I can fix that or it fixes itself... I already had to deal with updating my video drivers and the resulting BSOD just to get it to play without having really odd black grids/bars/splotches on the screen. :x

I stumbled upon the Bloated Man's Grotto at LV8.
Never again.

Spraggons or w/e are annoying as pineapple and it took too much to kill one. Later on, TWO SPAWN TOGETHER.

The glowing eyes and rather tired, older, beaten looking appearance has really caught my interest.

Something to do with vampires? or some kind of new transformation like a night hunter or something (hunts vampires, werewolves and the like).

Ooooh, or maybe he's a zombie!

I suppose he is one of the SnowElves.
But this is where it gets interesting, in Morrowind they mention the SnowElves as the Falmers but if they were the SnowElves I don't know why bethesda name them as propaganda.
So who knows. Maybe is a curse or something you gain throu quest.

It's possible they could have survived through magic, similar to the Blood Elves from World of Warcraft (who also have glowing eyes)

BUT, i don't think it is a Snow Elf, because it looks like a redone version of this image:
