How was your day today? - DotA 2 Edition

I want to smack all the idiots spamming Metacritic with full retard levels of reviews just because of no Diretide this year. Making the community look bad. This is probably the closest thing so far to the Brony Pizza Hut video (aka they never existed).

Why am I in low priority?

I CAN'T PLAY DOTA 2. AND ONLY GOD KNOWS WHEN I'M GONNA PLAY AGAIN.

Todays result, 6 games, won 3 games with CM, lose every other games using other heroes.

Out of curiosity I go through my profile and check my win rate since the 6.79 patch:

CM: 17 games, unbeaten since 6.79 hits.
Every other heroes including Naga Siren, Dazzle, KotL, Lion, Witch Doctor, Rubick and Lich: 20 games total, only won 6 games, 33% win rate.

Holy pomegranate that was a tough game, especially when I was missing all my ice paths at the start and letting rubick steal it, chain stunning us to death together with earthshaker and lion. Throw in a free farming morphling and rather plump spirit breaker, and you have a rather shitty start. Luckily the normal blame games didn't start and we played ourselves back into victory

Hovering around 50%, like most other people, it's 388 wins and 388 lose right now after my first lose on CM since the patch.

Also, It's a bit disturbing to see a Treant with BKB and Refresher and Pudge with a Heart and Gem. Those are really fed hereos, nevermind a Void with both Midas and Battlefury. BECAUSE VOID NEEDS TO FARM HARDER.

I have no idea, he got it after diffusal which made no sense even if he wanted a bf to farm as that should always be the first big item to build if he wants it which in this case, also makes no sense. His decision to build a Crystalyst was questionable too. You won't believe this is a build of someone who played dota for 8 years right? Well, he is my rl friend so I cant really just flame away although I really do feel like flaming in game.

About that void though, he and treant had a really hard time top versus me and ursa, that midas really helped.

Usual feeding and useless Pudge made me think we were going to lose. I went solo safe lane and actually did ok against Juggernaut+WD.
Viper was ganking more than Pudge and I was afraid we were going to loose to a fed Viper but they kept fighting mid while I farmed until 20-22mins. Once Pudge left and with all the split pushing I was doing my farm was far superior compared to the other team. They didn't kill me once since 20mins+ when I got my Linken's.
Team made space for me to farm and once I had Linken's, Bfly, Deso I carried them hard.

Troll Warlord and Weaver each die about 5 times in lane. Cliff jungling NP accomplishes nothing and yells at team. KOTL does nothing in particular except push lanes and take farm.

Tinker and OD both get a lot of farm. However, OD is constantly farming in the enemy jungle and getting picked off. Tinker is teleporting across the river without any vision and getting picked off. At some point, they chase a bait into a 2v5 team fight on the other side of the map when our lanes are pushed in and it's over from there.

Morph uses all his mana on Waveform for cs, rarely Replicates, and feeds hard. BH always out of position, gets owned once enemies get detection. Slark is way too fucking aggressive, keeps finding himself in 1v5 situations across the map. We actually had a shot at winning, but then he chases the enemy Rubick all the way across the map into the fountain while the rest of the team is pushing bot and dies.

This is fucking awful, I'm okay with bad teammates but I hate how people are just completely throwing games.

8 years of DoTA, and still thinks a Battlefury/Linkens is a good idea oh a PL? If he wanted farming, his illusions already flash farm pretty hard. That money could've gone towards a Manta Style, defensive way to dispel Dust/Silence as well as on-command illusions to push even harder. I can't really see a use for a Linkens since PL isn't a hit and run hero like Weaver, and there's no Doom on the enemy team.

This is pineappleing awful, I'm okay with bad teammates but I hate how people are just completely throwing games.

I hope to god the people throwing weren't the same people throwing games because of no Diretide, because that just makes me want to stay low from playing DoTA even longer. I know technically it's over, but I can still imagine some people being that petty.

I hate it when I'm playing carry/semicarry and a support follows me everywhere getting every last hit, even after they get their core items.
What pisses me off is when the very same person who has been following me all game insults me in Russian and then in English for being underfarmed. -_-
Mornings are the worst to queue in US servers.

Probably next week I'll go back to play. I tried to play on this old laptop but goddam it looks horrible, huge lag spikes and FPS drops everywhere.
It seems that it's my motherboard that is faulty. Yet I need to check before buying anything.

I don't know what I dislike more. People who can't play Pudge or people who can't play against him.
I've noticed that average pub Pudge is easy to counter just by good positioning, even without wards. As long as Pudge doesn't go in weird positions you don't expect that much it's easy to avoid hooks. Too bad not everyone knows how to play safe

Played my first Pudge in Diretide because I figured people wouldn't get mad if I failed. I landed every blind hook and missed every other hook except two lol
He's hard to play in 5vs5 mid, though. At least my team was like "Ohhh the hooks!!!" every time I landed one haha
