He had it coming for a very, very long time. He even expoits the surrender system by quitting the game if there's 3/5 yes and 0/5 no surrender vote in a 5-man team.

Yeah, he has some ego issues as well. XP He's the type of guy who is right no matter what proof you bring to him. Still, his rages and his commentary provided me some amusement. Also, even if he's got some ego issues, he is a very good player most of the time. Watching him play Malzahar made me appreciate how badly I play casters for example. XP I guess he's stuck on smurfs til it's unbanned, assuming it's not an all accounts ban or a uber short temp ban.

He totally deserves it then. Why the fk would someone do that. >_<
Dark Link Wrote:Reminds me of yesterday evening where I was Xin, laned with Kennen, and went against a Kennen and Alistar. I couldn't do pomegranate since Kennen kept harrassing the hell out of me and Alistar is menacing enough with his insane KBs D:

I keep having better luck playing as Annie than I do as Xin lol

BTW, funniest pomegranate happened today. I got first blood at bot with Annie and a teammate got a kill at top with Trynd, both were less than 2min into the match. Level 1 bush fights are serious freaking business!

It was one of those situations where you take a set of summoner spells and then once in game you realise you would have been better off with others. Many of the ganks i suffered could have been avoided if i had taken flash..

Also lol Kennen is so annoying to lane against cos of his constant harras. I had to lane against a kennen and a mord and he would just harras me down to a point where the mord could quickly ghost in and get off an ignite/ult combo and then there goes first blood Frown
Played a game with kennen just to try him out and I didn't like him really...
On other news my internet is sucking a lot with external servers (on speedtest goes SLOW when out of Chile) and the MS patch extraction doesn't call my attention at all, I think I can pretty much say I quit MS, I might get on for events like evolving ring or something but won't play really)
I think i need to get over the idea that having a jungler is always better when playing with randoms. Had a team of Kass, Vlad, Kat and Shen, I had not picked yet so I picked Trundle. Kass informed us he was going mid while in champ select, we get into the game and the other team also has a Kass, so now our Kass says he doesn't want to mid, and trades with Vlad who was top. But the thing is, Kass is now alone top facing an Ez and Swain. GG Kass, he gets 0 creep kills, escapes with 15 health and the tower is down to half health in 4 minutes. He trades with Vlad and is no facing the enemy Kass who is level 6 compared to 3. Our Kass dies twice in the next 5 minutes but does manage to kill two minions, so good work there. >.> Vlad ends up dying up top once or twice and bottom has a couple deaths as well.

The thing that gets me the most is I told Kass exactly what did happen would if he went top, but he did it anyways. I tried to be there to help as much as possible, but ganking an Ez isnt exactly an easy thing to do, and Swain is quite defensive as well. Amazing no one freaked out and resorted to name calling and what not, which was nice I guess. First time I have ever wanted to surrender no questions asked at 20 minutes. Was also only my second loss as Trundle in 9 or so games. Oh well it happens.

I'll be on later if anyone wants to play a game or two.
My rule of thumb is to ditch jungling if it goes haywire in the first like 5 minutes. It's better for the team
to go to the weakest lane and help lane instead of letting things go to hell while you are finishing
your route still. Since you have smite you can still run and grab red/blue as needed, and use it
to finish dragon/baron when you are with your team.

yeah this is kinda what i ended up doing, I was just running from mid to top back to mid. I was leveling up fine, but Kass was super underleveled since he was never in lane.
Tried playing a real game as TF. I was pretty terrible. Part of it was bad matchup against Caitlyn and Rammus, but mostly it was just my obvious need for some experience as him. One custom game is not enough. XP

Later on, I did a game as Swain and a game as MF. I won both of them, but I felt I really was lacking because I hadn't played them in so long. I've played both of them in custom games before, but that was a while ago. Swain pretty much owns his lane, so my tower never went below half, even going against two people at times. Only issue I had was mana regen, but that was only because I was doing pretty terrible with last hits. He has a longer delay than what I was used to. I'd still likely have run out, but not as quickly. I ended at 0/4/4, so I can't say my performance was really good, but we did win, and I definitely won my lane.

My other game, I went mid as MF against another MF. They were complaining about how bad I was. I wasn't playing well persay, but I wasn't that terrible as I went 1/1/6 before they surrendered. I was farming fairly well against her, but she was winning the harassment game and she almost killed me once or twice, with one time being successful thanks to one of her team helping. I killed her once with my ult, flash + shot combo, and she died to rammus after I whittled her down another time. Also, final team fight after my team dragons, they're all in the bottom or river bushes to gank them. Super easy ult catching at least 2 or 3 and 4 or 5 assists by the end of the fight as we aced them. XP

I really like both champions, but I'm not sure they're well suited for my playstyle. Perhaps with a different mastery set up they'd work better since I just keep my masteries as a tank setup most of the time. I dunno, I'm just lacking one HP quint and I'll have maxed out my current runes need. After that it's catch up on champion time.

I think after those games, I'd better do a custom game with Trundle since I haven't played him in a while too.
I haven't done a LoL commentary video in a while now. Will definitely do one this weekend! Any requests?

Cho'Gath please. I need to learn how to troll on him with Warmog play him effectively. Biggrin

Also...is hybrid Amumu (half tank, half AP) feasible?

If you're doing hybrid Amumu, You could probably get away with Zhonya's Hourglass for armor, Abyssal Scepter for mr, and Rabadon's for viable damage. Then you'll probably get Merc Treads, Boots of Swiftness, or Sorcerer's shoes I guess. So that leaves you with two "tank" items. Of course one of those should probably be a banshee's veil for the sheer utility it provides, which leaves you with one last one. Probably want to go Frozen heart, Randuin's, or Sunfire Cape depending on who you're up against. I dunno, I think it's a bit difficult to go hybrid unless you're doing so incidentally while building AP. Like my AP Nunu tends to build Zhonya's at some point, and B Veil too. Mostly because they let me pull off my ult better. I still go Rabadon's first though, it's just such a huge jump in damage and you can start almost 1 hitting squishy champs with your ult.

Also, just finished a game as Morgana 7/7/3. I had the most terrible Mundo I've ever played with or against. He fed their Jax and TF way too well, and I just couldn't be everywhere at once, nor fight effectively when they always focused me first in a fight. I was doing pretty good in spite of him, but my team pretty much gave up after he started doing it. Made me kind of sad since I always try my hardest, even with a bad teammate.
WillDaSnail Wrote:Also...is hybrid Amumu (half tank, half AP) feasible?

Yes and no, if you are playing for fun(normal or custom game) go right ahead, it works and does a decent job at tanking and doing some extra damage.

If you are playing to win(ranked or serious normal game) no. Building ap is going to hurt your survivability by a far amount. And even with those nice ap items, the damage you do and your move set isn't going to match up with a true AP champion. If you really wanted to play AP amumu, i'd almost rather see it done as pretty much full ap. Atleast get the most out of what you are trying to do.

One other note, getting abyssal scepter on "pure tank" amumu is great, just don't rush it.

EDIT: seeing electric's post and his build is pretty much what i was thinking as far as full ap amumu. Deathcap, abyssal, hourglass, banshee, boots and maybe an archangel or rylai's. I don't think anything tankier than rylai's is going to be worth it.

If I were to go full AP, I need to make sure that someone else is the tank or this build won't work out so well. Rolleyes

if you build abyssal, hourglass banshee and rylai's, you are going to be much tankier than any normal caster. Again, I am referring to a more "serious" game where i think you need to be more or less "all or nothing" regarding ap build or not.

edit: lets see if this works

there is the item build, with possible rune and mastery set up. Start off mana crystal into catalyst, then boots 1 and so on.
3k health with 130ish armor/magic resist is nothing to laugh at.

@ your link: Is it possible to configure it with what Runes I have? :f6:

And for shoes...wouldn't Merc Treads be OK for me?

click on the two rune tabs towards the top, click the right side to add, left side to remove.

I just picked some boots out, if they have a couple stuns get merc, if not cdr boots are very strong.

I think merc treads are a little overrated. If the other team has 4 stuns, why get mercs? they can just stun you 2 or 3 times and even with the cc reduction you are still going to die 9 times out of 10. Mercs are good for facing enemy rammus, galio, taric, sion, etc when the team combined only had a couple stuns. Just my opinion, but its something that gets overlooked.(guess i shouldnt say its my opinion, since i read about it on a forum, but i agree with it so w/e Tongue)

Anyways, I took a look at what you did and fooled around with it. Just curious, I know that the Utility mastery is for Caster-oriented champs, but is there a benefit to putting 21 points into Utility masteries for an Amumu? :f6:

My build: http://tinylc.com/d0

Masteries: 9/21/0
Runes: x9 Magic Pen Marks, x9 Armor Seals (flat), x9 MR Glyphs (flat), x1 HP Quintessence (flat), x2 HP/5 Quintessence
Items: Left it alone

You can try trolling with Warmogs if you're so inclined. But I'll slap you anyways for even mentioning it. Nevertheless, I'll keep your suggestion in mind when I play during the weekend. No guarantees though.

Hybrid Amumu is feasible.
