Now I am definitely starting to believe they upped the chances of finding shinies.

What did you catch Mewtwo with? Is it easy enough with Dusk Balls or should I use my Master Ball? :o

I caught him with a Master Ball. Was planning to keep it for either the Legendary Bird or something else but he was much harder to catch then I thought it would be. Maybe if you False Swipe+T-Wave him or something then it wouldn't be super painful to catch him with a Dusk Ball. But either way just beware he is MUCH harder to capture then Yveltal/Xerneas/Zygarde who all make it seem easy as heck.

I'm thinking you can Spite all of his Recover away, then False Swipe + Spore for the win.

I REAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLY want my Parasect from Black 2 now :<. It made catching things so easy.

I guess I can wait until December... not like I need Mewtwo right away.

I used Poke Balls. Took about 20 tries, using my Yveltal to stop him from doing much but spam Barrier/Recover. Oblivion Wing to heal any lost HP and deal some damage if Mewtwo used Recover. A few weeks ago when I was working on Black 2, I checked a capture rate calculator and found that there is no real bonus for using Ultra Balls over Poke Balls, or any need to drop a Pokemon down to 1 HP, as 10% and 1% resulted in the same chance of capture, or very close to it. Dusk Balls were something like 4x more likely than Poke Balls though.

Whoo Hooooooo! Caught Mewtwo with a Dusk Ball!

First used a lvl25 Shedinja. Used Flash 5 times to lower his accuracy to the lowest, then used Confide to lower his Sp.Atk to the lowest, then used Spite to wipe all his Recover PP.

Switched in Haxorus which Dragon Claws and False Swipes him to 1HP.

Switched in Venasaur for Sleep Powder.

Bam! Caught Mewtwo with just 1 Dusk Ball.

So finally decided that my last slot on my team will be Sylveon. Just to give the new type a chance. :o Spent an HOUR looking for a female Evee. Out of 47 Evees, only 1 was female. It was ridiculous.

On the mention of shinies, I still have yet to find one in ANY game. I've been playing Pokemon since Crystal version came out. Even my boyfriend found one the other day. He sent me a text: "Is this rare?" and attached was a picture of a shiny Drifblim. pineapple. Lucky bastard. Shiny Drifblim is the pomegranate.

I've been playing since Generation 1 - started with Blue. I believe shinies were introduced in Generation 2. I have not seen a single shiny Pokemon in the wild with the exception of ONE I saw while playing Pokemon Crystal Version. Back then, I didn't know what it even was, so I ran away from that battle. rofl I have not seen a single shiny since then and if they're more common in X and Y, my luck must be terrible.

Apparently, [MENTION=8642]ResistGreen[/MENTION] has found many shiny Pokemon over the past couple of days.

After a while the birds migrate to the Sea Spirit's Den. There's a use for it after all!

Right now I'm trying to evolve some Pokés to fill up the Dex. And Jon won't trade with me for Xerneas and Yveltal's data. He's asleep atm. :c

I used the GTS. Traded a Raichu for Xerneas, and a Chansey for Zygarde. Currently trying to get a bird for the Zygarde.
