Night Guy my ass. That last technique was called Evening Dragon. Mangastream themselves translated Seki = Night and we all now Ryuu = dragon.

Guy's state however, sure looks way too bad. Naruto keeping him alive a bit more is not the real asspull, I'll hold my breath for if anyone comes in claiming they can heal him up however.

I'm willing to beat that Sasuke's answer to end the endless conflict between the Sage's descendants is to kill the other one so only one remains, in other words kill Naruto.

I love all of this wondrous filler backstory the anime is giving to Kakashi and Itachi. They worked so well together. Truly impressive.

That explains why later on Itachi mercilessly tortured Kakashi in a genjutsu, having him stabbed for 3 days and making him unconscious for a week.

I'm sure we all could concoct some sort of logical explanation for that, but they (whoever plans these fillers) really just need to leave the past alone sometimes.

Notice how kakashi awaits the mangekyou sharingan after that battle! (well, waaaay after.. but still) Itachi teached him how to activate it in that fight, and that was a good power up!

Also while Naruto = one brother and Sasuke = the other, is Naruto inheriting the So6P while Sasuke inheriting something else (forgot who it is).

read last weeks chapter(672). the two sons of So6P have chakra-memory-budhist-reincartion-generational-descendant crap. both naruto & sasuke inherit one of the brothers, each.

IKR, a merely magma rasen shuriken capable of cutting the whole tree that Guy's evening dragon couldn't even put a dent on. Imagine what an odama rasen shuriken would do then.

I'm willing to bet the one calling Madara from inside the tree is Kaguya. She's the one that pulled the infinite tsukuyomi before and since Naruto and sasuke are Ashura and Indra it wouldn't be weird at all.
