2011 Summer Update

Just realized it can't be Ifinia, because you can make a female demon slayer also.

It could be Ifinia if you make a male demon slayer, and her death drives him against the Black Mage, and Van Leon if you make a female demon slayer, and his descent into dark magic/insanity turns her against the Black Mage?

Remember that in this case, this would be the instructor's story, not your character. At least if this class follows the same structure as other resistance classes.

Notice the 12th slide. Obviously Athena knows Mercedes. But I wonder what's with the locket (which seems to be related to the Demon Slayer) on the upper right..?

Perhaps Mercedes was Athena's mentor?

You know after taking another look at the video of the Demon Slayer and Mercedes showing off their skills, I kind of want Demon Slayers to always see the game in that odd coloration due to their rather dark and/or evil looking skills and possibly dark story line. Also, am I the only one bugged by them getting a double sided Monster Magnet?

Am I the only one that's completely overwhelmed by all of this? >.<

i actually think the slayer will wield a new weapon, why? look at the picture that shows the level weapons, you'll notice the mace/whatever is always the same, but the shield changes colors and forms.

How much you wanna bet demon slayers use the same weapon/offhand the entire time they're leveling, and it grows in power the more "Dark Energy" or whatever they're calling it that you absorb from monsters.

all i hope is that it plays as some sort of aran/BaM, as in, not just spamming one attack, but mixing them all together.

That would actually make sense, given how fast leveling is now and how overpowered characters are compared to monsters.
Nobody bothers to replace weapons often, or do more than the most rudimentary scrolling on anything but their "end-game" weapons, because why bother when you can 1-hit anything with a random weapon you just picked up, and you're going to be 10 levels higher tomorrow anyway?

The archer legend has a "different" play style as well, it's very very acrobatic. Also, PONIES!

Every X dark energy collected with 1 weapon = +X w.att? Maybe a range of values rather than something plain. Perhaps +%damage at final "stage" of growth. If weapon is replaced the stages are reset to 0.

why nexon is copying diablo3 characters????
