They introduced this thing called "Potential" (Bonuses that gear can give.) and "Miracle Cubes" (Reset a gear's Potential, giving you new bonuses.)
Potential gear you can get for free, but Miracle Cubes need to be bought from the Cash Shop.
The idea is you buy tons of these cubes until you get the bonuses you want. (Ones that increase your main stat by a percentage, bonus damage against bosses, defense ignore, crit chance, bonus HP, etc.)
However, the damage cap is at 999999. So they needed to find a new way to get people to buy more cubes..... (And perhaps blow some money on expensive class exclusive Cash Shop gear.)
