@The grammar debate on the first page: The only ambiguous thing about it would be the colon usage implying that the following person is the subject referred to in the subject of the sentence. Unless you're terrible at maintaining a conversation (referring to the person posting "This guy"), the natural flow of the discussion was as follows:

Not ambiguous. Though, yes, there are dangling participle and ambiguity problems in the English language. However, one must follow the natural flow of a conversation. If you do, there's not that much about which to be confused if you follow along, and the poster confirmed he was being, well, normal and in his right mind.
