Ezreal and, to a less extent, Graves don't have as much carry potential as some other ADCs. But that doesn't stop them from facerolling people late game.
Late game I think those 3 excel the most because they can reposition themselves the best which is absolutely key in competitive play. All that damage doesn't help if you get caught out of position and die.
